We meet up with a care team and an office block owner in Bridgnorth who have come together to see that children less fortunate don't go without this Christmas.

00:04and some special little gifts are being put together.
00:07Just fill us in on what's going on Jackie?
00:09Yeah well there's something I've done myself for a few years
00:14which I fill a shoebox full of lovely little gifts for children.
00:19What sort of stuff goes in there then?
00:21Well anything from colouring pens, toys, toiletries, games.
00:30Basically for children that aren't really as fortunate as my children for instance are.
00:37And this year I've moved my business to Laz Yard
00:42and Marco has very kindly put some shoeboxes together this year with myself.
00:49So instead of a couple me sending each year I've got many more boxes thanks to Marco.
00:57So Marco you represent the block here, it's a number of businesses in Laz Yard House?
01:01Yes we've got 52 businesses here at Laz Yard House.

01:04Yes that's why the car park is so full.
01:05Wow I was gonna say that's yeah if you'd have made me guess I'd have said maybe 10.

01:12Lots of very good businesses like Jackie's that are very forward-thinking and progressive
01:16and they do lovely things like this which is what I like to get involved with.

01:23Straight away it's been really good fun.

01:26Putting them together and really thinking through what I was going to get for the kids
01:29and stuff it's been really really good fun.

01:32So where do they get sent to Jackie?
01:34Mainly South Africa.
01:36Yeah.
01:37And can I just say as well some of my staff have donated
01:41which I'd like to thank them very much to fill the boxes for us today.
01:46That's great stuff and it's that time of year isn't it yeah it's nice to remember you know
01:49there are we all whinge about how hard it is for us but you know we're quite fortunate
01:54generally aren't we in this country.
01:56Yeah so it's nice to think that we're making a difference to some children Christmas Day.
02:00So how many boxes do you think you'll be putting together in total roughly?
02:03I think roughly we'll be sending off 10.
02:06Yep cool.
02:07And basically they get picked up from Highley.

02:11So they'll be going over to Highley this evening.
