पीएम मोदी ने झारखंड में चुनाव प्रचार का बिगुल फूंक दिया है। पश्चिमी सिंहभूम के चाईबासा टाटा कॉलेज मैदान में प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने विशाल चुनावी जनसभा को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने कहा, "बीजेपी के लिए आदिवासी भाई-बहनों की आकांक्षा, उनका सम्मान हमेशा सर्वोपरि रहा है। जब पहली बार बीजेपी सरकार बनी, अटल जी देश के प्रधानमंत्री बने, तब जाकर आदिवासी समाज को अलग राज्य मिले। छत्तीसगढ़ और झारखंड ये दो राज्य बनाने का सौभाग्य बीजेपी को ही मिला है। बीते दशक में हमने आदिवासी समाज के योगदान को देश-दुनिया के सामने रखने के लिए अनेक कदम उठाए हैं...।"
