00:00But mainly the Latino, we have become the force that bring the work in this town.
00:07All these other factories that came here, like Amazon,
00:10have come here because they know they're going to have people to be able to work.
00:15For me, opportunity means financial opportunity,
00:19because I think the universal symbol of how successful a person is,
00:23is how much money they make.
00:25Very high-paying jobs.
00:27Jobs that don't exist on bulk in rural towns.
00:30Right, they don't.
00:32How do you think that affects this community?
00:34Well, if someone in Hazleton, like me, who really, really wants to,
00:38when they're older, have a high-tech, high-paying job, will move.
00:41The jobs that are here are $15 an hour jobs.
00:44They're not $25 an hour jobs.
00:46And there's mom and dad working, and the kids are at home.
00:49That's not really what I call opportunity.
00:52How can I help them actually be able to achieve the American dream?
00:55$31,000 on a family of four is not the American dream.
