Speaking at the launch of the 2024 National Level Hawkers and Petty Traders Day Carnival in Butterworth, Penang on Saturday (Nov 2), Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said he is fine with only taking allowances on his MP payroll and added that savings from his foregoing of salaries since he took helm could be used for other purposes including pay raise for civil servants.
