Maroof Pakistani American Tajir Syed Javed Anwar Bhi Donald Trump Ke Hami
Transcript
00:00In the US state of Texas, a well-known Pakistani-American trader, Syed Javed Anwar, is also a candidate
00:06for the Republican president, Donald Trump.
00:08He has had many meetings with his former president, and during the election campaign, he has also
00:13made special arrangements for a welcome party for Donald Trump in the Midlands.
00:18To discuss this, Syed Javed Anwar is with us.
00:22He knows more about the situation with him.
00:26Syed Javed, what is the reason for supporting Donald Trump?
00:56If you don't give entrepreneurs, businessmen, a chance to invest, because in business, in these new projects,
01:21there may be a chance that you could fail.
01:26So Trump policies allow you to have tax write-offs for businesses, oil and gas projects, and other projects.
01:39Why would somebody invest and take a chance in business if they are not allowed to take
01:48the write-offs for the losses?
01:51God forbid it happens.
01:55That's the biggest thing.
01:58It is said that Donald Trump will end the wars as soon as he comes.
02:01How true is this?
02:04Donald Trump believes in working with different nations and trying to avoid wars in different parts of the world,
02:23especially against Russia and China and other countries that are hostile to the US.
02:35How do you see the role of the Pakistani community in this election?
02:41The beauty about this country is that everybody is free to take part in the election,
02:51whether you are a Democrat or Republican or anything.
02:56The Pakistani community is also invited to take part in the election if you are a US citizen.
03:09But some people have a negative attitude about our vote is not going to make a difference.
03:16And that's the sad part about a lot of people thinking that,
03:21well, we are a minority, 10% of the vote won't count or something.
03:28That's not wrong.
03:29Every little bit helps.
03:31And I would encourage every Pakistani to take part, whether it will or it won't.
03:38But slowly and gradually, little bit, little bit makes a difference.
03:43Thank you very much, sir, for your time.
