Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project : విజయవాడ, విశాఖలో మెట్రోరైలు ప్రాజెక్టులను పట్టాలెక్కించేందుకు రూ. 42,362 కోట్లు సమకూర్చాలని కేంద్రానికి రాష్ట్రం ప్రతిపాదించింది. విజయవాడ మెట్రోకు రూ.25,130 కోట్లు, విశాఖ మెట్రోకు 17,232 కోట్లు అవసరమని అంచనా వేసింది. విభజన చట్టం ప్రకారం ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుల నిర్మాణానికి కేంద్రమే నిధులివ్వాలని కోరింది. మెట్రో భూ సేకరణకు అయ్యే ఖర్చును రాష్ట్రం భరిస్తుందని తెలిపింది.
