00:00Welcome back. Curtis Rourke. Great news for Indiana. An
00:07Indiana team that is eight and oh for the second time in
00:09program history. The first time since 1967 looking to
00:13improve to a perfect nine and oh on Saturday in East Lansing
00:18against Michigan State. Spread is now seven and a half with
00:22some uncertainty around Rourke's status earlier this
00:25week, Joe. It was under that touchdown number. Now,
00:28Michigan State's been a decent underdog this year. Three, two,
00:31and one against the spread. Indiana's been a covering
00:34machine of their eight wins. All eight by at least two
00:38touchdowns. They have covered in seven of eight. The only
00:41non-cover. Week number one for IU against FIU won the game by
00:47twenty-four. Missed out on the cover by the hook as a twenty-
00:51four and a half point favorite. Can Indiana keep it rolling
00:54tomorrow in East Lansing against the Spartans? Yeah, so
01:00what? Indiana beat Washington last week by fourteen and
01:03didn't have their starting quarterback but you just said
01:06it, right? Curtis Rourke back behind center this week and
01:11call me crazy. Uh even Michigan State and Jonathan Smith who I
01:15love uh and I do think that program will be in over the
01:20next couple of seasons, a team in which is probably not going
01:24to find themselves getting points at home very often uh
01:27but in this particular case, Indiana being eight and all
01:30against the number. Their head coach uh Cignetti over 70% ATS
01:35and his coaching career at this level. Uh there is if it ain't
01:39broke then we don't fix it here on the early line and you know
01:43what? Indiana ain't broke and neither is them covering games.
01:47So, as far as I'm concerned, all in on Indiana in uh by
01:51double digits here against Michigan State. Joe, this is a
01:55game that the odds makers still do not have the belief in the
01:58Hoosiers as being the wagon that we have seen this year.
02:01The cover percentage, the cover margin is fifteen point seven
02:06points per game. That means they are are passing expectation
02:10by nearly three scores. A lot of people have poked holes in
02:13IU's resume and its strength of schedule. No doubt about it.
02:16It's a hundred and seventh in the country. It's the worst in
02:18the big ten at this point but it does get more difficult.
02:22This is a time for Indiana to prove it and if we know one
02:25thing about coach Sig, he's going to have the boys ready.
02:28Joe, completely agree with you about Michigan State. Jonathan
02:30Smith has this program trending in a positive direction. A
02:35couple of coaching lapses and some young miscues from their
02:38young quarterback in Aiden Childs cost them the Paul
02:41Bunyan trophy last week in Ann Arbor but they're moving in the
02:45right direction. Believe you me.
