00:03President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the whole-of-government approach

00:08in addressing the needs of our countrymen affected by the storm.

00:23The storm hit Batanes.

00:26This was witnessed by the Batanes Police Provincial Office

00:29at around 2 a.m. earlier

00:31when heavy rain and gusts of wind were seen.

00:34The waves were also high in some coastal areas

00:37because of the wind, so some trees almost fell.

00:41Also because of the storm,

00:43the oldest church in the town of Itbayat,

00:46the Santa Maria de Mayan Church, was destroyed.

00:48In the middle of the storm,

00:50President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured

00:52the whole-of-government approach to calamity

00:55According to the President,

00:56the whole-of-government approach to the effects of the storm is strict.

01:00Although the resources are affected according to the President

01:03because of the upcoming storm,

01:05he assured that the country's assets are sufficient

01:07to avoid the most severe effects of the storm.

01:10And the rapid recovery of the affected individuals

01:13is likely to be due to the arrangement of the left-overs.

01:16The Chief Executive also assured

01:17that there is no shortage of assistance and recovery efforts

01:21for those affected by the storm Christine and Leon.
