00:00The opening hole at Sheep Ranch, this is the best opening hole at all of Abandoned Dunes,
00:04folks. And the reason for this is typically with golf course architecture over in Scotland,
00:09in Ireland, they save the best land, the best property, the oceanfront property,
00:14not for a clubhouse, but for the golf holes. So the clubhouse set back, maybe back in the
00:19trees a little ways off the coast of the first hole, the 18th hole, while good holes are not
00:24always the most spectacular. And that's true at Abandoned Dunes, except for here at the Sheep
00:28Ranch, we've got a 520-yard par 5, awesome opening tee shot. As you can tell, there's a
00:33lot of action near the clubhouse. Everybody's walking by, people got cocktails, there's a
00:38little bit of trouble right, there's a little bit of trouble left, but if you hit a good solid tee
00:42shot, it's a spectacular par 5 that goes down the hill. I, standing here, have been known to have
00:47a little bit of the driver yips. Not the easiest moment for your boy, but I hit a pretty solid one,
00:52trying to set up for a little draw down the left center, overcooked it a little bit,
00:55but it flew all the trouble. In the left rough, we got 230 out. Big shout out, by the way,
01:00to Body Armor Sport Water. Body Armor Sport Water is phenomenal. Everybody's always drinking it
01:05around the office. If you see in all the videos, that's just what we got. It's got electrolytes
01:09in it, it's clean, it's delicious. Head on over to your local 7-Eleven, get your Body Armor Sport
01:14Water today. Mine's empty because I drank it, because I needed it on this trip. This is my guy,
01:18Odie James O'Donoghue. If you go to Abandoned Dunes, highly recommend him and Cody cruising
01:23down the fairway. Hold on, Odie, talk to him. Talk to him. 230 pin, boys. First hole, sheep range.
01:29Glorious opening. Glorious opening hole. This has got to be the best hole out here. Got to be the
01:33best opening hole out here. I have goosebumps. See that? You're standing up. That's just from
01:38last night. 230 out. Not the greatest lie over here, and if I pull a 5-wood or something,
01:44and I hook it, or I spray it way right, our round's over before it even begins. I took a little 5-iron,
01:48just tried to punch one down the middle, hit it a little bit too far right, but it's fine.
01:53We got 60 yards in. I think maybe it was 61. Just a little 60 degree to this front right pin,
01:57and as you can tell, the reason this hole's awesome reminds me of Spyglass, the first hole
02:01at Spyglass Hill. If you've ever been there, if you've been lucky enough to be there, cool little
02:04mini ghost tree behind the green, the ocean, the setting, the beginning of the round. Everything's
02:10in front of you. The slate is clean. You can start with a good birdie opportunity. Hit a little 60
02:14degree in here. Camera fell over. It's always windy at Sheep Ranch. There's no bunkers on Sheep Ranch.
02:19There's wide open terrain, so the wind kind of always blows. Blew the camera over, but luckily,
02:24luckily, captured the shot. Hit a decent little wedge in there to 12 feet or so, and we got a
02:27little left to right putt, which kind of messed with me because it breaks away from the ocean,
02:31so I wasn't exactly sure. Hard for me to commit to breaking as much as it did. Pretty good effort.
02:35Just rolled off to the right. We start this round with a nice little par. That is the best, the best
02:41opening hole at all abandoned dunes. That's the first hole at Sheep Ranch. That's body armor,
02:46sport water. That's a par, and we roll into the rest of the round. I cannot rave enough about this
02:51body armor, sport water. This is electrolytes. It's pure. It's delicious. It rehydrates you.
02:56I'm on a trip. We're having fun. We're having quite a few drinks in the morning. This thing's
02:59already gone already because I needed it. Good par to start. Let's get out of here.
