00:00Before your mastectomy you wrote them letters. I did. I had this really weird
00:06anxiety, maybe it's rational, that I wasn't going to wake up after the
00:11anaesthetic. So I wrote each of them like a goodbye letter in case I didn't wake
00:20up. I know I obviously I was going to wake up because a million people have
00:24anaesthetic every day and wake up but I just that was the thing that was making
00:27them most nervous. It wasn't losing a breast, that was fine, get the cancer out.
00:31What if I don't see my boys again? So I wrote them letters which I put in my
00:36bedside drawer. Mark knew they were where they were in case that would happen and
00:41it was just I mean obviously it was how much I loved them but it was and please
00:47remember your manners and will you make sure you're kind to people. All the stuff
00:51I say every day anyway just I just wanted it on paper just so they'd have
00:56it on their plate.
