00:00All right, so I was watching the World Series last night, just to keep it transparent here,
00:03and just checking in on the score, and I saw field goal, and field goal, and field goal. I'm like,
00:08okay, that's the way I thought this game was going to go. And then, all of a sudden,
00:11in the second half of the game, I mean, this thing went over the total. I was sort of shocked
00:15that that happened, and I guess mostly because of Giants' mistakes. I guess that's fair to say.
00:19Mistakes happen. The Steelers took advantage of them. I take nothing away from Pittsburgh.
00:24You know, Jacob, isn't it crazy how the names on the back of the Steelers' jerseys change every
00:30year, but every year they win nine, ten games like clockwork? It's sort of incredible to me
00:35how well that franchise has run. It really is, and I think it's a credit to not only the franchise,
00:40but the job Mike Tomlin is doing. He doesn't always get a lot of love because the team's
00:45playoff record in recent seasons has been spotty, but if you look at the job he's done with the
00:50rosters he's had over the last five years, to be able to get to the playoffs and to never have a
00:54losing season is pretty incredible. And I think his decision to start Russell Wilson over Justin
01:01Fields when the Steelers had a 4-2 record and were winning with Fields, I think that's going to go
01:06down as a really good decision. I was skeptical of it at first, but you look at how Russell Wilson
01:10fits in this offense, his deep ball ability has kind of unlocked George Pickens a little bit.
01:16He didn't have a huge game last night, but he did have two touchdowns called back,
01:20one for a penalty and one because he hopped on his same foot twice inbounds, but never got the
01:25other foot down. It was very strange, but he's shown better chemistry with Pickens downfield
01:30ability there. And Calvin Austin is kind of becoming a weapon too because of his speed,
01:34almost like Tyler Lockett-esque, maybe not quite like that, but you're starting to see Russell
01:39Wilson kind of bounce back in this system. And I don't think that should be as big of a surprise
01:43as it really was to any of us because Tomlin just gets the most out of his guys. And if
01:48Russell Wilson continues to play like this, I think we're going to be looking at the Steelers
01:52and saying, hey, they might be able to win a playoff game in the AFC because that defense
01:56is really, really strong.
