00:00If, on the one hand, the missions of the PNRR are aimed at initiating a profound change to realize the green, ecological and inclusive transition of the country,
00:16on the other hand, the world of business responds by giving its contribution.
00:21Green Transformation, Investments and Strategies, which is included in the format of the ADN Kronos Q&A agency, was discussed at the ADN Kronos Convention.
00:30The meeting, which took place at the Palazzo delle Informazioni in Rome, saw the participation of institutions and business leaders to make the point on how to act on the change.
00:40These investments, especially in innovation, are the ones that allow the discovery of new ways of doing business, of managing the production processes, supply chains, logistics chains,
00:53in such a way as to make strong and competitive the economic system, but safeguard as much as possible the sustainability of the environment in which we live.
01:07In the field of sustainability, Italy boasts of important examples.
01:11Paradoxically, we have been contacted as CONOU to explain how our model of success works in countries in the south of the world, important and also of great size.
01:21So I believe that we can make sustainability not only in our countries, but also bring sustainability to the rest of the world.
01:29Competitiveness and environmental challenges have in common an answer, investments.
01:34As Coca-Cola Capricci d'Italia, since 2010, we have invested half a billion euros in the country.
01:40And this, of course, with special attention to industrial activities and our six production plants distributed in five regions of the country.
01:49On which area? The environmental area.
01:52So we have invested in everything that concerns new technologies related to packaging,
01:57so recycled raw materials, new processes, new infrastructures that allow us energy savings,
02:03a lower use of water and a lower use of virgin raw materials.
02:07We have also increased the recycled raw material with a plant dedicated to this with 30 million investments in Piedmont.
02:14Digitization is an integral part of social sustainability.
02:19This challenge translates into the need to contribute in a green thinking and harmony perspective
02:28with the ecosystem also constituted by other actors, from local authorities to administrations and institutions,
02:35to the development of environmental sustainability, but also and above all to the development of social and digital sustainability
02:45through a contribution that constitutes the necessary budget for the development of infrastructures
02:52aimed at guaranteeing the development of digital public services that meet the real needs of people.
03:01Sustainability translates into a new concept of quality for companies.
03:06Entering a new way of managing the company is an analysis of risk management,
03:12it also allows for financial and banking facilitation, in addition to positioning the brand reputation.
03:19So it is the new key concept for business in 2024.
