00:17There are 62 associations in different towns of Agus and Losur

00:21that are built by micro-entrepreneurs

00:23to receive financial assistance to build their business.

00:27The Sustainable Livelihood Program aims to provide livelihoods

00:30to our countrymen in the province

00:33and to guide them in their business development.

00:36This is a big help to their Zero Hunger Projects

00:40even in conflict-vulnerable areas and others.

00:43One of the recipients is Mary Joy Rumau-Albior of Santa Josefa,

00:47President of Angat-Angas Sustainable Livelihood Program Association

00:50who shared her positive opinion

00:52on how they can also help other residents.

01:12According to Ramil Taculo, Chief Administrative Officer of DSWD-Caraga,

01:16they were given more than P29 million in checks

01:20from 62 associations in the province.

01:22They were also given permission to register with civil society organizations

01:26to provide assistance to the sector

01:29as well as to provide vocational training to them.

01:32Governor Santiago Cane Jr. also encouraged the beneficiaries

01:35to use the funds they received from DSWD.

01:39He also thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for his continuous support

01:44in Agus and Losur.

01:46It is important for us to work together to improve the quality of life

01:52of the people of Agus and Losur.

01:54It is expected that DSWD will travel to other provinces of the Caraga region

01:58to provide financial assistance to those in the remote sectors

02:02and to help them in need.
