00:00Some passengers were stranded at the terminals and national borders due to Hurricane Christine.

00:06The Department of Transportation is preparing for the expected influx of passengers to Ondas.

00:12Mark Salazar is the witness.

00:17Anna Lynn went to Manila North Port early.

00:20Within 17 years, this is her first chance to go home to Cebu.

00:26But she is worried because her trip was delayed.

00:31I told them not to worry, I won't be late.

00:37According to the DOTR and the Philippine Ports Authority,

00:40all ports are operational, but up to Php 110 million is estimated to be damaged.

00:483,500 passengers, rolling cargo, and boats are stranded at the ports.

00:55According to the NDRRMC and the Office of Civil Defense.

00:59Many of our passengers were affected.

01:02Our seaport from Sor Sugon to Alen.

01:08In the PITX, it is not yet clear when all the Bicol, Visayas, and Mindanao will be able to travel.

01:14Many of the Bicol trips are still canceled.

01:17According to the DPWH,

01:19from almost 100 closed roads on October 22 in the aftermath of the typhoon,

01:25only 13 roads are closed and are being repaired.

01:29The DOTR is also preparing for the expected increase of passengers in Ondas.

01:341.5 million passengers are estimated to travel by bus,

01:39while 3 million passengers are expected to travel by ferry and boat.

01:42In Metro Manila, the preparation for Ondas is already in the finishing touches.

01:46Like in Manila North Cemetery, where there is already a police on-site command post.

01:52And this is until November 4.

01:54Mobility inside the cemetery is also drying up,

01:58the Medical Response Group of Manila City Hall.

02:01In the Aldan-Pangasinan, some niches are still flooded,

02:05which makes it difficult for some residents to clean.

02:08They need to go to the niches to pass

02:12and go to the other side of the cemetery.

02:15Water is also a problem in several public cemeteries in Davao City.

02:20According to Davao City Economic Enterprise,

02:23they requested a submersible pump to pump water.
