00:00Any reminders of DAP's position with regards to former Prime Minister Najib Razak?
00:06Now that he has openly apologised to Malaysia, will DAP accept the apology?
00:12It's not a question of whether accepting any apologies.
00:16With or without any apologies, a crime is a crime.
00:20He has been convicted and I think the conviction of course has been proven by the court.
00:27I think that remains a fact.
00:30So to me, the apologies does not mean anything.
00:34Will DAP be okay if he is put under house arrest to serve out 30 minutes?
00:39There is no such provision under the law for any house arrest.
00:43So even the discussion about the house arrest law being formulated,
00:49it's about prison reform, it's not about Najib.
00:52There is a certain threshold that certain crimes cannot be put into house arrest
00:57and of course crimes which are serious are not permitted under house arrest.
01:03So I think it's not a question about Najib regarding the new law.
01:07As far as Najib is concerned, he is still facing multiple charges.
