It tells the story of two poor guys who leave their hometown in the northeast with dreams of getting rich and goes south to pan for gold. However, their simplistic nature coupled with a series of near misses ignites a touching and comedic story that depicts their struggles. Along the way, they come face to face with female entrepreneur Ma Lu and happily raise a kid.
