00:30John Peter drowned in a slow protection accident
00:34and ended up in the deep part of the Sinucalan River where he was supposed to take a bath.
00:39We went to the river because my brother slipped and fell into the river.
00:47I was able to hold him but he kept on slipping because of the strong current.
00:55Residents helped John Peter to be saved.
00:59He was also brought to the hospital by MDR-RMO.
01:03The MDR-RMO said that the incident has nothing to do with the accident.
01:10Patrolman Jason Arubio was killed after a forward closed van hit him
01:16while he was driving his motorcycle in Barangay Bungon, Batac City, Ilocos, Norte.
01:20According to the investigation, the closed van moved along the line
01:24and that's why the victim was hit in the head.
01:26Due to the impact, the motorcycle of the victim was also burned by an accident.
01:31The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was injured in the head
01:35but was declared dead on arrival.
