00:00You live with the awareness that anything can happen in this world.
00:04Welcome to WatchMojo, and today we're looking at the most shameful moments
00:08in the television industry.
00:10Robert Crane says when he was a teenager, his father admitted he had a secret life.
00:17Jeanette McCurdy.
00:18In 2022, former child star Jeanette McCurdy of iCarly and Sam & Cat fame
00:24released a memoir with the somewhat blunt title of I'm Glad My Mom Died.
00:28Stardom was never your dream. Whose dream was it?
00:31My mom's. I think she wanted me to have a better life than she had,
00:37but I also think her approach was very unhealthy and informed by her own lack of self-work.
00:45And she lived vicariously through me.
00:48It's a dark statement, but the book is exceptionally well-written.
00:52This account details what being part of the TV industry at a young age was like
00:57after being pushed into it by her abusive and controlling mother.
01:01The retired actor reveals the lengths her mother would go to control her life,
01:05down to what she was allowed to eat.
01:07Yeah, I think my mom wanted to keep me as controllable as possible.
01:12I think she really wanted to have her influence on me,
01:16and me growing up was a threat to that.
01:18She also alludes to an unnamed creator who made her time in the industry miserable,
01:23including being pressured to drink and being photographed in a bikini, both while underage.
01:30The Duggar Family
01:3119 Kids and Counting, a reality show that had the number of kids in its title increased twice
01:37while it was on the air, came to a halt in 2015 when a 2006 police report was made public.
01:43We went through one of the most darkest times that our family's ever gone through.
01:47The report concerned the Duggars' eldest son, Josh Duggar, who the report stated
01:52inappropriately touched five girls, including four of his sisters,
01:56on multiple occasions as a teenager.
01:59Six years after the show ended, he was arrested and subsequently convicted
02:03after being found to be in possession of explicit material featuring minors.
02:08Regardless of their status in society, regardless of their wealth, regardless of their fame,
02:14this case shows that no person is above the law.
02:16The Downfall of Ellen DeGeneres
02:19For years, groundbreaking comedian Ellen DeGeneres was a beloved talk show host and
02:24gay icon. There had been whispers about DeGeneres, but they were mostly hushed
02:29until more people began to question her in the late 2010s.
02:32This summer, there were allegations of a toxic work environment at our show,
02:37and then there was an investigation. I learned that things happened here that
02:40never should have happened. I take that very seriously,
02:43and I want to say I am so sorry to the people who were affected.
02:46In 2019, she faced criticism for being friends with former American President George W. Bush
02:52and giving a cushy interview to fellow comedian Kevin Hart while he faced controversy.
02:57And of course, who could forget the awkward but iconic Dakota Johnson interview?
03:02DeGeneres claimed she wasn't invited to Johnson's birthday party, but the actor called her out.
03:08This time you invited me?
03:09Yeah.
03:09Are you sure?
03:10Yeah.
03:10How do you know? I don't think so.
03:12Ask everybody.
03:16Ask Jonathan, your producer. Who said you were?
03:19I wasn't invited? Why didn't I go?
03:22I don't know.
03:23By far, her biggest controversy came when investigations unveiled an alleged toxic
03:28work environment on her show, including racism, sexual misconduct, and an air of intimidation
03:34and fear.
03:35Philip Schofield Scandal
03:37British daytime TV anchor Philip Schofield stepped down from hosting duties on his popular
03:43morning show This Morning after admitting to an affair with a young co-worker.
03:47And then, in my dressing room one day,
03:54something happened.
03:55The matter got so much attention in the British media that it was even discussed in Parliament.
04:00It was the second media blitz for Schofield within the decade after he had shocked viewers
04:05by announcing that he is a gay man after 27 years of marriage and two daughters with his wife.
04:11After reports of tension between Schofield and his co-host Holly Willoughby that coincided
04:16with a drop in ratings, he initially resigned with no mention of an inappropriate relationship.
04:22But he soon released another statement describing what he called a, quote,
04:26unwise but not illegal relationship.
04:29Why is all this coming out now, Philip? What was the catalyst? What changed?
04:32It got too big. The lie got too big for both of us. It just got enormous.
04:38Drake Bell
04:39As a teenager, Drake Bell delighted audiences on Nickelodeon classics like The Amanda Show
04:44and Drake and Josh.
04:48In the 2024 documentary Quiet on Set, Bell shared an experience that severely darkened
04:53his days as a child star.
04:55The actor said dialogue coach Brian Peck sexually assaulted him on multiple occasions during his
05:00years at Nickelodeon. Years later, at the age of 31, Bell himself was found to have exchanged
05:06inappropriate social media messages with a minor.
05:09I accept this plea because my conduct was wrong.
05:14I'm sorry that the victim was harmed in any way, but that was obviously not my intention.
05:19The silver lining in all of this is that following his interview for the documentary,
05:23he was able to check himself into rehab.
05:26Justin Roiland
05:27As far as anyone knew at the time, 2020 was a normal-ish time within Rick and Morty,
05:33for better or worse.
05:34Dad, there's a way we do this now.
05:38Morty, would you please accompany me to Forbodulon Prime for death crystals?
05:44Well, thank you for asking. Yes, I will do that.
05:47Three years later, it would finally be made public that in that same year,
05:51the show's co-creator Justin Roiland was charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment.
05:57When this broke, a cavalcade of abuse allegations against Roiland were made,
06:02including some involving minors. Also revealed in 2023 was a sexual harassment claim from a
06:09female Rick and Morty writer that had been investigated by Adult Swim in 2020.
06:14While he was not let go by the network then, it was a no-brainer for them to part ways with him
06:18amid this fiasco, even though he also voiced Rick and Morty's titular duo.
06:23Betrayal! Betrayal on all sides!
06:25Don't overreact, Morty.
06:26The Firing of Roseanne Barr
06:28Roseanne's history with these sort of remarks in regards to African-Americans
06:32had already been documented, and yet, you know, the network decided to reboot her show anyway.
06:39Barr was the creator and star of Roseanne, which was one of the most popular sitcoms of the late
06:4480s and 90s. It was so popular, in fact, that it was brought back for a very brief revival in 2018.
06:52We say brief because the show lasted just two months before Barr was fired.
06:57On May 29th, Barr made a racist comment about Valerie Jarrett on Twitter,
07:02who had just finished her role as senior advisor to the president.
07:05The tweet garnered immediate controversy, and ABC canceled Roseanne that very same day.
07:11Huge in the ratings, making a lot of money for ABC,
07:15for them to so swiftly cancel this show. They're going to take a hit.
07:19Owen Hart
07:20In one of the darkest moments in television and professional wrestling,
07:24tragedy struck during the World Wrestling Federation's over-the-edge pay-per-view
07:28event in 1999.
07:30Last night in Kansas City, Missouri, with more than 18,000 people in the arena
07:34and a large worldwide pay-per-view audience,
07:37Hart was getting ready to make a spectacular entrance, similar to one he'd made before.
07:42While participating in the event, wrestler Owen Hart was meant to be lowered into the ring for
07:47a planned match against The Godfather. However, following an accidental release from his safety
07:52harness, Hart fell 78 feet during the stunt to his death. While the incident itself was not
07:59televised, announcer Jim Ross informed the audience of what had happened,
08:03having to make clear that this was in no way part of the show.
08:07Shocked ring announcers tried to tell the home audience what they were seeing was no act.
08:11Something went terribly wrong here. Uh, certainly, uh, Owen Hart,
08:17Lou Blazer, very serious situation here at this point in time.
08:20The Murder of Rebecca Schaefer
08:22On the CBS sitcom My Sister Sam, Rebecca Schaefer was a fan favorite.
08:27Brandon asked you out on a date?
08:30Yeah.
08:31Sam, that's hysterical.
08:33It is?
08:34Oh, I mean, I can't believe you actually thought he asked you out.
08:37While the show only lasted a couple of seasons,
08:39Schaefer was still due to make a big break, with roles in movies like scenes from The Class
08:44Struggle and Beverly Hills. In the summer of 1989, she was awaiting her biggest opportunity yet,
08:50with an audition later that day for the role of Mary, Michael Corleone's daughter,
08:54in The Godfather Part III. When she answered the door expecting a script,
08:59she was shot dead by an obsessed stalker.
09:02Mr. Barto stated, I forgot to give you something.
09:04Withdrew a handgun from his waistband and shot her once in the chest.
09:07Something good came from the tragedy at least,
09:10as it set in motion the first laws in California that criminalized stalking.
09:15The Jenny Jones Show Murder
09:17In a 1996 episode of the daytime talk program The Jenny Jones Show, Scott Amador,
09:23an out and proud gay man, admitted to a forbidden crush on Jonathan Schmitz, his straight friend.
09:30Did you think Donna had the crush on you?
09:32Did I? No, we're good friends.
09:33Well, guess what? It's Scott that has the crush on you.
09:35You lied to me.
09:37On camera, Schmitz is shocked but appears to laugh anyway.
09:41When he wasn't on TV, he didn't think there was anything funny about the confession,
09:45shooting his so-called best friend to death just three days after it was filmed.
09:50In court, Schmitz would go on to unsuccessfully utilize the gay panic defense,
09:55ultimately being convicted of second degree murder.
09:58Members of the jury, have you reached your verdict? If so, let your foreperson please rise.
10:03Our verdict as to the charge of first degree premeditated murder
10:08is guilty of the lesser offense of second degree murder.
10:11The Abuse of David Yost
10:13Right there, Tom!
10:1790s kids have fond memories of Power Rangers,
10:20but making the show was not as fun as watching it.
10:24At least not for Blue Ranger David Yost.
10:28A gay man, Yost was reportedly harassed by producers and crew members for his sexual
10:33orientation. The harassment got so bad that Yost harbored thoughts of self-harm,
10:38and eventually quit the show altogether.
10:41After leaving the program, Yost attempted to alter his sexuality through conversion therapy,
10:47and later suffered a nervous breakdown.
10:50After spending some time in a psychiatric institution,
10:53Yost accepted his sexuality, and has since returned to the Power Rangers community.
10:58She's a kid. She's a kid, Billy. She doesn't need to know that we're Power Rangers.
11:03She needs to know that Rita Repulsa killed her mom.
11:05The franchise has also not been kind to Allison McInnes,
11:09the Pink Lightspeed Ranger who broke her leg while training for a dangerous stunt.
11:15The Death of John Eric Hexum
11:17I was in Special Forces, Fort Benning, Georgia.
11:19They came in and looked sober, about as uncomfortable as what you're doing here.
11:24Between September 1984 and April 1985, CBS aired an action thriller called Cover Up.
11:32It starred John Eric Hexum as Mac Harper, a former Green Beret who's hired by a fashion
11:38photographer to find her husband's killers. On October 12th, 1984, Hexum was waiting on
11:45set when he got bored and began playing with a gun loaded with blanks. He unloaded all but
11:51one blank and played a round of Russian Roulette. Not knowing how dangerous this was, he pulled the
11:57trigger and fired a blank straight into his temple. The shot fractured his skull and caused an
12:03enormous brain hemorrhage. Unfortunately, the damage was too great to repair, and Hexum died
12:10six days later.
12:12Clayne Crawford's Unfortunate Behavior
12:21In 2016, Fox began airing a lethal weapons show based on the iconic film series.
12:28Roger Murtaugh and Martin Riggs were back after nearly 20 years, and they were respectively
12:34played by Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford. Unfortunately, the latter caused a slew of
12:39problems on set. Crawford was reportedly known for his angry outbursts, which made
12:45those around him uncomfortable. One instance even resulted in studio-appointed therapy
12:51and Crawford giving up some of his paycheck to the afflicted party. It was all too much
12:56for the cast and crew, many of whom voiced their displeasure at working with Crawford,
13:00and he was fired at the end of the second season.
13:03Murtaugh is without a Riggs. A lethal weapons star leaves the action series after multiple
13:08accounts of bad behavior on set, including endangering his fellow castmates.
13:13The Fall of Louis C.K.
13:15I go to my daughter's school to volunteer sometimes. My daughter goes to a public school,
13:20and I volunteer not because I'm a good person, but because you have to, because nobody works there.
13:25While he's primarily known for his stand-up, Louis C.K. also found great success on television,
13:31especially with his surreal Emmy-winning Louis. The series entered an indefinite hiatus in
13:362015 at the end of its fifth season, with C.K. planning on returning to it at some point in
13:42the future. But that changed when the comedian was accused of inappropriate sensual behavior.
13:48The story began that very year, when fellow comedian Roseanne Barr shared some nasty rumors
13:53about C.K.'s secret behavior. These rumors were confirmed two years later in the midst of the
13:59MeToo movement, and C.K. admitted his transgressions. As a result, FX cut all ties with their star
14:06and Louis was canceled. News this morning about the comedian Louis C.K., who has come out to say
14:11that the accusations against him are in fact true. The $1.98 Beauty Show. And now a lovely
14:18young lady who is truly one of television's brightest stars from the show, one day at a time,
14:22Mackenzie Phillips. The 70s were certainly a different time, one in which producers thought
14:30laughing at people would make for appropriate television. The $1.98 Beauty Show was a parody
14:36of beauty pageants, with contestants demeaning themselves for less than $2 in prize money
14:41and a bouquet of rotten vegetables. Much of the humor came at the expense of the contestants,
14:46with host Rip Taylor, announcer Johnny Jacobs, and a group of celebrity panelists often ripping
14:52into their physical appearance. When an overweight woman is comedically called a, quote,
14:57tow truck, you know things have gone too far. The show was viciously criticized for being mean
15:02spirited and canceled after two seasons.
15:06Molly measures 35, 25, 35. Molly says that she has a tremendous love for horses,
15:13which is probably the reason why she's been divorced twice.
15:16The allegations against Dan Schneider.
15:19Well, um, you better get going. Oh, and be careful.
15:23Why be careful?
15:24You may not know his name, but you certainly know his TV shows. A successful producer,
15:29Schneider created some of the most iconic Nickelodeon programs of all time,
15:33including Drake & Josh, iCarly, and Zoey 101. If you can name a Nickelodeon sitcom,
15:40chances are that Schneider made it. But this prosperous relationship came to an end in 2018,
15:45when Nickelodeon fired Schneider for inappropriate behavior. This included a long history of temper
15:51issues, angry outbursts, and an alleged foot fetish that saw him posting photos of his
15:57actress's feet. New allegations emerged a few years later, claiming that Schneider
16:02would ask for massages and was prone to gender discrimination.
16:06I see the problem.
16:07Oh, do ya?
16:09A workplace hazard.
16:11Bryce Dion was killed in August 2014. He had followed Omaha police into a Wendy's
16:16where a robbery was taking place.
16:17Cops has been a TV staple since 1989, and has aired well over 1,000 episodes in that time.
16:24The premise is simple — a small camera crew follows everyday cops and films them doing their
16:30job. Usually, the show consists of minor things like public drunkenness and drug arrests. But
16:36sometimes things get tragically heated. On the night of August 26, 2014, a crew operating in
16:43Omaha responded to a robbery at a local Wendy's. The police opened fire on the suspect and
16:49accidentally hit the cop's audio technician, Bryce Dion. Dion was hit by a stray bullet and
16:55rushed to the hospital, but he quickly died of his injuries. Dion's brother later sued the city
17:00of Omaha, but his case was dismissed.
17:03An 11-page lawsuit claims negligence on the part of the Omaha Police Department
17:07and asks the city for payment to the heartbroken family of Dion.
17:11Jimmy Savile
17:13British television personality and DJ Jimmy Savile was adored for years as the host of
17:18iconic BBC programs Top of the Pops and Jim'll Fix It.
17:23Last week, we fixed it for Katie to meet Dr. Who, and she sent me a very nice letter.
17:27She said, Jimmy, thanks for fixing it for me.
17:29Posthumously, several minor abuse allegations spanning decades were made against Savile.
17:35It called into question for many how and why he was never caught while he was still living.
17:40The BBC has also been criticized for turning a blind eye to a monster who one survivor called,
17:46quote, the most disgusting human being I've ever met.
17:50To this day, the total number of Savile's victims is unknown.
17:54The silence has been shattered and more of those who were scared or felt they
17:58wouldn't be believed are coming forward. Karen Ward had told BBC's Newsnight last
18:04year of what she saw as a 14-year-old at the BBC, but to her anger, they didn't run it.
18:09The Mysterious Death of George Reeves
18:12Before Christopher Reeve donned the red and blue of The Man of Steel,
18:16George Reeves played him on the syndicated Adventures of Superman.
18:20The first Superman television show, it ran for six seasons between 1952 and 1958.
18:27The next year, Reeves died of a mysterious gunshot wound.
18:32Reeves had supposedly taken his own life inside his L.A. home,
18:35the result of depression and feelings of failure.
18:38But this finding has long been contested and debated.
18:42Some have theorized that famed Hollywood fixer Eddie Mannix was involved.
18:47Others point to Reeves' fiancée, Leonor Lemon.
18:50We'll likely never know what truly happened, and for now,
18:54we just have to accept the potentially bogus self-harm theory.
18:57And now, another exciting episode in the Adventures of Superman.
19:02The Cancelled Makeover of Delise Williams
19:05Tonight, a My Fair Lady makeover, more extreme than any done before.
19:10I would just love to be able to look at myself and see a whole different person.
19:16Extreme Makeover was an ABC program that saw ordinary people
19:19undergoing plastic surgery to attain their dream appearance.
19:23Needless to say, the show garnered much controversy in its day,
19:27and it even resulted in a death.
19:30A Texas woman named Delise Williams was slated to appear on the show.
19:34Producers arrived at her hometown and goaded family members into saying
19:38awful things about Williams' physical appearance.
19:41She was in the next room listening in for reaction shots.
19:44But Williams' spot was canceled at the last minute owing to scheduling conflicts,
19:50and she had already heard the nasty things that were said about her.
19:53Williams' sister, Kelly McGee, was so distraught and guilt-ridden over what she had said
19:59that she took her own life.
20:01The Quiz Show Scandals
20:03Dan Enright came to see me in my kitchen, and he said,
20:08how'd you like to make $25,000? And I said, who wouldn't?
20:11It was the late 1950s, and television was still a very young industry.
20:16Enter the producers of various game shows who wished to increase ratings
20:20and make stars out of their players by fixing the games.
20:24These are now called the Quiz Show Scandals,
20:26and they threatened the very integrity of television.
20:29While these scandals rocked numerous shows, the most infamous story involved
20:3421 and contestants Herb Stemple and Charles Van Doren.
20:39Reigning champion Stemple was instructed to throw the game so Van Doren could win,
20:44and he went on to enjoy his own famous winning streak.
20:47Both would later testify in front of Congress,
20:50which in turn amended the law to prevent future cheating on TV game shows.
20:55I don't think an adult of your intelligence ought to be commended for simply,
20:59at long last, telling the truth.
21:01The Poor Horses
21:03I guess I still know a peach when I see one.
21:07The HBO horse racing drama Luck had a slew of talent behind it.
21:12It was created by David Milch of Deadwood fame, and the pilot was directed by Michael Mann,
21:17and it starred Dustin Hoffman in the lead role. Yet it only lasted nine episodes.
21:23The show was actually picked up for a second season,
21:26but it was then revealed that the show's racehorses had suffered numerous tragedies.
21:31Two horses had died during production of the first season,
21:34as they suffered fractures during runs and were subsequently euthanized.
21:38A third horse died while filming the second season,
21:41prompting HBO to suspend production and launch an investigation.
21:46The show was then canceled, with HBO claiming that they didn't want any more accidents to occur.
21:51Go, go.
21:57No Girls Allowed
21:59Amy Allen, I'm Hannibal Smith. I understand you want to hire the A-Team.
22:04One of the most popular shows of the 80s,
22:06the A-Team followed the adventures of four mercenaries working in Los Angeles.
22:11Nothing screams 80s machismo quite like it, and perhaps unsurprisingly,
22:16women had a very difficult time working on the show.
22:19The first two seasons starred Melinda Coolea as reporter Amy Allen.
22:24Coolea often voiced her displeasure at playing second fiddle to the A-Team
22:28and asked for more to do, and she was fired as a result.
22:32In came Marla Heasley to replace her as Tonya Baker,
22:35but she was quickly dropped also and was never even added to the opening credits.
22:40Most people lay blame at the feet of George Peppard,
22:43who reportedly insisted that no female be given a lead role.
22:46Now, if you wanted somebody with good manners,
22:49you should have hired an English butler.
22:51Tommy Cooper Dies on Live TV
22:54I shall have a dish of zephyr cloth for live ducks.
22:59I got away again.
23:01A popular English magician, Tommy Cooper saw great success throughout the 60s and 70s
23:07by appearing on numerous television programs.
23:10Unfortunately, his health began to suffer in the late 70s,
23:14owing to excessive drinking and cigar smoking,
23:17resulting in tragedy on the night of April 15, 1984.
23:21Cooper was performing on a variety show called
23:24Live From Her Majesties when he suddenly collapsed.
23:27The audience laughed at the sight of Cooper falling over,
23:30believing that it was part of his comedic act.
23:32In reality, Cooper had suffered a fatal heart attack.
23:36The show continued as people tried to revive Cooper offstage,
23:39and he was eventually taken to Westminster Hospital.
23:43Unfortunately, he was declared DOA,
23:46having died in front of 12 million viewers.
23:49And you put your hand inside the bag,
23:51and you're bringing the egg out with thunderous applause.
23:57The Glee Curse
23:59And I know that there have been a lot of memorials for him,
24:01but I had this made and I was hoping that we could hang it in here.
24:06Despite being one of the most popular shows of the 2010s,
24:09Glee has left behind a questionable legacy
24:12that has nothing to do with the show itself,
24:14but the actors who were at the helm.
24:16Many dark and disturbing things have either befallen the young cast
24:20or been perpetrated by them.
24:22Regarding the latter, Mark Saling pleaded guilty
24:25to some horrific crimes in 2017 and later took his own life.
24:30It has also been reported that Blake Jenner
24:32was physically abusive towards his then-wife, Melissa Benoist,
24:36even giving her a permanent eye injury.
24:38But horrible things have also happened to the actors.
24:42Cory Monteith died in 2013 from a drug overdose,
24:46and Naya Rivera later drowned while boating with her son in California's Lake Piru.
24:52The Demise of Phil Hartman
24:54I am Troy McClure.
24:55You may remember me from such films as The Greatest Story Ever Hoolid
24:58and They Came to Burgle Carnegie Hall.
25:01A television legend, Phil Hartman drew widespread acclaim
25:04for his work on shows like Saturday Night Live, NewsRadio, and The Simpsons.
25:09But throughout the 1990s, Hartman was in a strained relationship with Brim Omdahl,
25:15his third wife.
25:16Known for heavy substance use, Omdahl would often behave erratically,
25:21sometimes even violently.
25:23While Hartman was advised to leave Omdahl, he never did so.
25:27Tragically, in the early morning hours of May 28, 1998,
25:32an inebriated Omdahl shot and killed Hartman while he slept.
25:36After confessing to numerous people and drawing police attention,
25:40Omdahl locked herself in the bedroom and took her own life as well.
25:45The Unsolved Murder of Bob Crane
25:47We're running a little bit behind times.
25:48Pass the word around, football game is off.
25:51Oh no, Colonel, I was supposed to play fullback today.
25:55Fullback?
25:56Now I know we've got to get the game canceled.
25:58After running a successful radio show,
26:01Bob Crane moved on to acting and found work on Hogan's Heroes.
26:06The popular sitcom ran for six seasons,
26:08with Crane playing the titular Colonel Robert Hogan.
26:12But when the show came to an end in 1971,
26:15Crane struggled to find work and began doing dinner theater.
26:19By 1978, Crane was living in Arizona and doing a show called Beginner's Luck.
26:24On June 29, Crane missed a meeting,
26:27prompting one of his co-stars to visit him at his apartment.
26:30There, they found Crane's dead body,
26:33which had been both bludgeoned and strangled.
26:36Blame fell on his friend, John Henry Carpenter,
26:39but he was acquitted in court.
26:41While some continue to point the finger at Carpenter,
26:44the murder is officially unsolved.
26:46Hey, you need a ride tomorrow to the airport?
26:48I got a luncheon at noon.
26:53John, don't bother.
26:55An Unfortunate Guest.
26:57And I really didn't want to get in the car,
27:01but I was raised to respect my elders.
27:05You never know what types of people will show up on game shows.
27:08The dating game typically saw a woman asking questions
27:11to three men sitting behind a partition.
27:13She would then pick the man she liked the most,
27:16meet him face-to-face, and then go on a date.
27:19In 1978, a photographer named Rodney Alcala appeared on the show
27:24and won a date with Cheryl Bradshaw.
27:26However, she found him creepy and refused the date,
27:30and for good reason.
27:32By this time, Alcala had killed at least four women
27:35and served years in prison for sexual assault.
27:38He would kill even more after his appearance
27:40on the dating game, bringing his official body count to eight.
27:44Some believe it could be as high as 130.
27:48I'm called the banana, and I look really good.
27:54Bill Cosby.
27:55Did you ever think that this day was gonna come?
27:59I've dreamt of this day for 32 years.
28:03It's amazing how fast a reputation can plummet.
28:06For many years, Bill Cosby was regarded as America's dad,
28:10winning over millions with his work on The Cosby Show.
28:12But allegations of sexual abuse followed Cosby
28:15throughout most of his career,
28:17with the earliest instance dating back to the mid-60s.
28:20These allegations continued into the 21st century
28:24with the most illegally formidable coming in 2004.
28:27It was then that a woman named Andrea Constand
28:30accused Cosby of sexual abuse.
28:33While most of Cosby's crimes
28:34fell outside the statutes of limitations,
28:37Constand's did not,
28:38and it was her case that briefly sent the comedian to prison.
28:42It is now believed that Cosby
28:44had been assaulting women for decades,
28:46even while serving as America's dad.

29:13What a beautiful lizard.

29:29including the nature documentary Ocean's Deadliest.
29:32It was while filming this show
29:33that Irwin met his tragic demise.
29:36The host approached a short-tailed stingray,
29:39which proceeded to sting him in the chest.
29:41Unfortunately, the barb got him directly in the heart,
29:45and Irwin quickly bled to death.
29:47The accident was captured on video,
29:49but the footage has never been released.
