00:00It's stripped away by Panarin, given to Schneider for a circle shot, blocked,
00:05recover shot, save, rebound, oh what a save made by Bobrovsky, a throw check right at the top of the goal crease to stop, throw check on the rebound,
00:12Sergei Bobrovsky protects the one goal Panthers lead with 1335 to go in the second.
00:17Wolster gets it out to the neutral zone, the final seconds tick away and the Florida
00:22Panthers win 3-1 to start their road trip over New York Rangers tonight at
00:26Madison Square Garden. Sergei Bobrovsky, the fastest goaltender in NHL history to
00:32400 career wins. A big congratulations to Sergei Bobrovsky, the 14th goalie in
00:39the history of the National Hockey League to 400 victories.
00:43Yeah, it's, you know, the moments when you put the gear on and go out and play in the NHL, that's so
00:50special. Not many people can go through that and so I'm really, I appreciate
00:55that and very, very value that so I wanted to be at my best possible shape
01:01to take it, to take the best out of it, you know, so and that's why, so
01:05it's all little pieces. I've been long enough in the hockey, in the
01:09professional sport and so I got my preparation and it's, I'm still
01:13developing, I still enjoy the game like a little kid. I don't mean any
01:17disrespect, his first nine years in the league he wasn't playing, you know,
01:21necessarily in front of a very elite team so he had to grind for those wins so his
01:26numbers are hard-earned. A testament. That winning percentage is
01:31incredible. To do something that with so many of the great net miners this game
01:35has had. I'm really happy for him that he gets that recognition while he's at the
01:40peak of his game. I know the players really enjoyed it after.
01:44Oh yeah, we're celebrating him currently. You know, he's the backbone of our team.
01:51What he's done, not many people have and I don't know if anybody has as fast as
01:57he has so what an incredible goalie, what an incredible competitor and just an
02:01amazing guy and teammate. I'm so lucky to be able to play with him, so lucky to be
02:06able to learn from him and just I couldn't be happier for him because
02:09nobody deserves it more, nobody works harder.
02:13Focus.
02:14Thank you for the congratulations, me.
02:18Sergei Bobrovsky yesterday. 400 wins, Leroy.
02:24Muchas gracias.
02:26Gracias. No, gracias to you, Bob.
02:29Yeah.
02:32Man, that's, I mean, he's one of one.
02:35Crazy, dude.
02:37Very rarely do you do something, whether it's in a career or a season, that puts you on
02:45the top of a list.
02:47Not only that, but to do it against the Rangers, who had yet to lose in regulation, they go
02:52into Madison Square Garden yesterday. You got my guy, Carter Verhage, getting his first
02:57goal of the season and what do you say?
03:01Can't say my guy.
03:02No, that's my guy.
03:03No, you can say Carter Verhage.
03:04No.
03:05You can't say my guy.
03:06No, no, no.
03:07Why?
03:08No.
03:09There has to be some sort of stipulation on TTL to my guy.
03:11You don't just go from TTL to my guy.
03:14The whole point of TTL is those are my guys who I give TTL to.
03:18I need to speak to someone.
03:20That is the whole point.
03:23This is not fair.
03:25Stupid Rangers go out there, they think, ah, Eastern Conference final.
03:29So the Panthers have already eliminated, I've eliminated them from concern.
03:33They've beaten the Boston Bruins twice, once on the road without their two stars, and now
03:38they beat the Rangers yesterday in Madison Square Garden.
03:42So any of these guys who are like, we're going to get our revenge against the Panthers.
03:46And I'm going to tell you, my favorite thing is watching these press conferences afterwards,
03:50boys, where you have just all these Northeast reporters who are like, who are you guys in
03:57their heads?
03:58How are you guys?
03:59They're better.
04:02That's how, dude.
04:04And Sergei Bobrovsky, congratulations to him.
04:07This is from the Panthers yesterday, Leroy, in the locker room, Bob speaking to his teammates
04:14because they were celebrating him.
04:17Welcome!
04:18Thank you, thank you, thank you.
04:23V.T.V, V.T.V!
04:27V.T.V, V.T.V, V.T.V, V.T.V.
04:31I'm just fortunate to be part of this team, part of this group.
04:34I enjoy it every minute, every second of it.
04:37So thank you guys so much.
04:39I cannot thank you enough for tonight as well, so let's keep it up.
04:46He's, he has so much armor on it's crazy.
04:49Cause I mean, because underneath that is a skinny dude, right?
04:54There's nobody better at saving pucks on their ass than that guy.
04:58Like he does this snow angel save yesterday.
05:01I'm like, how all the time.
05:02What about the one last year?
05:05Oh yeah.
05:05All the time.
05:06But he's always, he had one yesterday.
05:08He stretched out full go and then got it again on the rebound.
05:12I'm like, he's the most flexible dude.
05:14It's crazy what he's able to do.
05:16It's amazing how he can get, so he'll make a diving save on one side.
05:21Right.
05:22And then be able to get back to his feet, get to the other
05:25side and then block another one.
05:27And then like, when there's those crazy scrums where he doesn't have a
05:31stick, he's like head on the swivel.
05:34But you know, you're not getting past it without that.
05:35It doesn't matter.
05:36He could not have a stick.
05:37He'd go out there without a stick.
05:38He's going to, he's going to come up with the saves.
05:41I love it.
05:41Stupid Rangers, ridiculous.
05:45Giraffe on skates.
05:46Oh, I'm so glad they sent that.
05:48I mean, you know, I wish him well in his career, but I'm so glad they
05:51sent that kid down to the minors.
05:54Reppy.
05:55Remember they said, Ooh, look at Reppy out there.
05:59He's going to, he's going to rough up some Panthers.
06:02Yeah.
06:02All right.
06:03Enjoy the Hudson Valley, dude.
06:04Wherever the hell you play minor league hockey in New York.
06:11Oh, what a time.
06:12What a time to be alive.
06:13And by the way, you know, Anton Lundell, you want to talk about
06:18stepping up in the captain's absence.
06:22Barking out here.
06:23We got baby Barkie.
06:24He's coming through Leroy.
06:26This kid is this kid is that line has been incredible.
06:29I mean, we've talked about that.
06:31You know, Paul Maurice has called that line of him, Rhino and a Lester
06:35rain in the, uh, the safety blanket of the team, which is true.
06:38I mean, they just, they, they, they, they're just lighting it up like crazy.
06:42But Lundell has just been such a monster in the absence of Alexander Barkoff.
06:47It's awesome.
06:48Love this Panthers team.
06:50I mean, the one thing that I would say is that they're really deep, right?
06:55And, and that's the thing we all take for granted that how deep they
07:00are and that's really cool.
07:03A lot of fun.
07:05You can go, you can pretty much go.
07:08I want to say to the end of their roster and their, their contributing.
07:14Like each line has, has a guy you go, Oh, so-and-so's in the game.
07:17Got them right.
07:19There'll be a back at it tomorrow against the Islanders.
07:23And then, uh, they'll wrap it up against a Buffalo on the road.
07:27Well, actually they'll just continue to go further on the road.
07:29Cause then they go to Finland, which is going to be great.
07:35They're basically little Finland.
07:36That's like a home game away pretty much.
07:39Yeah.
07:39I mean, like, I can't imagine what that crowd's going to
07:41be like for little Finland.
07:43They should put them all on the same, at the same time.
07:45Oh, that'd be cool.
07:47That's Goosey's.
07:48Yeah, that was Goosey's.
07:51So happy for Bob, man.
07:53So happy for him.
07:54Doesn't look like he's slowing down.
07:56I'll tell you what that dude is in great shape.
07:59Everybody's saying, and, and I mean, he, he, he looks as quick as ever.
08:03He looks as locked in as ever.
08:05Um, and what a bounce back to what a bounce back.
08:09Cause they, they, uh, they got throttled by Minnesota the other night, but I
08:13mean, these big matchups, they like, it is interesting that these weird
08:16teams have taken them out and then, but any of the teams that they've had
08:20playoff crossings with thus far, Leroy, they've let them know daddy's still here.
08:26That's still here.
08:27Daddy's still here.
08:28All right.
08:28You gotta, you gotta come take it.
