01:01Meanwhile, the National Golf Olympian, Ashley Lau,
01:04managed to create a surprise on the second day of the Maybank Golf Championship 2024,
01:08after being in the 39th position,
01:10while beating her countrymate, Mirabel Ting, in the 44th position.
01:15Ashley scored 68 points, 4 under par with 6 points and 2 bogeys,
01:21while Mirabel scored 75 points, 3 under par with 2 points, 3 bogeys and 1 double bogey.
01:27It felt like I wasn't doing good on the front nine,
01:30but I shot one under and then I think putts started going in on the second nine.
01:35So, I'm very glad they did.
01:38I think, yeah, I think a lot of that I made the right decision.
01:43Yeah, there was just one hole I went into the water,
01:45which was very, very surprising.
01:47But other than that, I think I made some pretty good choices out there.
01:52Conditions were a little bit more, much more tougher today
01:56and putts didn't drop.
02:00It only dropped for the last two, which is the 15 and the 17.
02:05And I was really, really frustrated on the golf course today
02:10and, you know, made a couple of three putts coming in
02:15and couldn't make any birdies.
02:17And it's just frustrating the way I played today.
02:21But there are a lot of positive going on in the round today as well.
02:26So, I guess we just have to see what's going to happen again tomorrow.
