00:00So you're obviously coming to the Exotic Zoo this Halloween. Yes. How are you

00:04feeling about your talks? Oh I enjoy talking to the public and I used to do a

00:10great deal of it in my 33 years at West Midland Safari Park. I'm removed from

00:16that now being a university professor at the University of Wolverhampton so I

00:20don't have as much interaction with the public as I used to have. I don't get to

00:24handle venom, well snakes in general, as much as I used to and so it's a nice

00:31blast to the past if you like for me and it's nice to come over and you know come

00:36over to Scott's collection which is really an excellent collection and we're

00:41old friends and so when he said oh do you want to come and do some guest

00:45lectures? Yeah absolutely. What can people expect from you? Education.

00:52Education, you can't get enough education but some interesting stories about

00:58about these the animals that we're we're going to be handling like this false

01:02water cobra from South America and the Gila monster. Telling people about their

01:08natural history where they come from and talking more generally about reptiles

01:13because there's a lot of myths about reptiles and if we take questions we can

01:18debunk the myths. How are you feeling about having Mark here over Halloween?

01:23Well we're super excited, you know we've been friends with Mark for so long and he's

01:27always supported the zoo but all of our staff and volunteers are always really

01:31engaged when Mark comes to the zoo you know because they grew up watching his

01:34TV shows so you know we want we want our visitors to be as excited about

01:38that because that's obviously going to help them to engage and learn as much as

01:41possible about the amazing animals that we're going to be using for the stage

01:44shows. And what date will Mark be here over Halloween? So Mark's going to be

01:49doing the weekend of the 21st of October so the 21st and 22nd and the weekend of

01:53the 28th which is the Halloween weekend which is the 28th and 29th. And who do we

01:58have here? So this is Jesus and he is a Gila monster. Fantastic.
