00:00Two boats were washed ashore in Batangas where one of them was found without a captain and was being investigated.

00:06Meanwhile, the loss of water in some dams in Luzon is being controlled.

00:42According to the Philippine Ports Authority, 7,313 stranded passengers will be affected,

00:49the most in Bicol and Samar.

00:54We have 14 ports which are currently experiencing the effects of the storm.

00:58There are no trips as of this date.

01:01We request that the passengers monitor the situation and not proceed to the terminals.

01:08The PPA and the GSWD confirmed the distribution of hot meals and food packs to the affected passengers.

01:16The agency is currently investigating who is responsible for the two ships that sank in the Batangas Bay.

01:25The ships were anchored but were hit by strong waves towards the port.

01:30One of the ships had no captain when the incident happened.

01:33The incident happened while one of the ships was caught by the Customs Bureau last week

01:40and other government agencies but was not released.

01:44Meanwhile, the National Power Corporation assured that the loss of water in a large dam in Luzon is still under control.

01:54At present, 52 cubic meters per second of water is still coming out.

02:00The Amboklaw and Ginga Dams in Pangasinan are open.

02:07According to the NAPOCOR, before the storm hit, the water in the dams was slowly drained to avoid flooding.

02:18We anticipate that a heavy rainfall will affect the dams and not just collect the water.

02:26The dam releases here are very controlled and will definitely not cause flooding.

02:32According to Joshua, the NAPOCOR is asking the residents who live near the dams to be alert.

02:40It is expected that the gates of the dams will also be closed if the weather improves.
