00:00And that's the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.
00:03And it seems like right now, it's a two-horse race.
00:05It's Jaden Daniels as a slight favorite at minus 115.
00:09It's Caleb Williams closing fast at a plus 100.
00:13Looking at the game this weekend, it's a head-to-head matchup.
00:16Or is it?
00:17Because it looks like Jaden Daniels, to me, probably not going to play.
00:20Whenever a coach gives you the designation of day-to-day, you're worried about them playing
00:24this weekend.
00:25If he gives you the designation of week-to-week, you won't be playing this weekend.
00:29And Jaden Daniels' rib injury looks like it's week-to-week here.
00:32Let's just start at the top right now.
00:34Both of these quarterbacks really playing good football.
00:37Daniels and Caleb Williams.
00:38Do you agree right now on the FanDuel Sportsbook Dubzy that Jaden Daniels should be the favorite
00:43at a minus 115 price over a plus 100 price of Caleb Williams?
00:48Absolutely.
00:49He's been fantastic.
00:50He's done more for the Commanders than King Caleb has done for the Bears.
00:54They're sitting at five and two.
00:55Perfect home record there as well.
00:581,300 passing yards, six tatties with only the two interceptions.
01:02So he's been playing some really efficient football and has been accurate downfield.
01:07Obviously dealing with that rib injury coming in here for a week.
01:10We flexed this game.
01:11We wanted to see the two fantastic rookie quarterbacks squaring off.
01:15But for me, Daniels has been the better of the two.
01:19Only slightly there at minus 115.
01:21I guess the oddsmakers are telling us the same thing there as well.
01:25You'd love to see him out the mix there for the Commanders.
01:27But yes, I would say Daniels has been the better of the two.
01:30But only just there, Donnie.
01:32Only just.
01:33Yeah, Caleb Williams really starting to shine on the field.
01:36Sometimes it takes a game or two for some of these rookies to get going.
01:38But also, as I always bring back last year, like CJ Stroud really cracked the mold of
01:43a rookie quarterback coming into the NFL and excelling in both of those kids.
01:46I call them kids, Daniels and Williams.
01:48They've looked sensational in their own part and their teams above 500 here with both chances
01:52to make the playoffs.
01:53I love to see it.
01:54But let's take a look a little bit down the board here.
01:56Malik Neighbors was injured with a concussion.
01:59Comes back against the Eagles.
02:00Doesn't do much.
02:01He's at a 16-1 price.
02:02Brian Thomas has been a very good wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars, 20-1.
02:06Brock Bowers, certainly already a top five tight end in the NFL.
02:11He's 31-1.
02:12Not necessarily of those players, but is there anybody else that you would bring into the
02:16tent with a legitimate chance, Dubsy, to win that Offensive Rookie of the Year this year
02:20for you?
02:22You know, I would entertain Brian Thomas Jr. there with the Jags.
02:26Obviously, Jacksonville have not been playing good football, but he has been seeing a lot
02:30of targets, a lot of receptions.
02:32And we know Trevor Lawrence, when he can figure things out for Jacksonville, that offense,
02:37when it is moving in the right direction, he could put up some filthy, filthy numbers
02:41there.
02:42The LSU product standing at a monster 6'4".
02:45He's got the speed.
02:46He's got the athleticism.
02:47And on a team that really doesn't have that standout wide receiver, I think Brian Thomas
02:51has been absolutely fantastic.
02:53So if you're looking for a little sprinkle play, you know, a long shot, I think that's
02:57where I would look.
02:58And what would have to go in favor, obviously, you know, these young quarterbacks would have
03:03to go missing, miss a couple of games in the back half of the season.
03:07But there's a really good chance of that as well, especially with both teams being right
03:11in the heart of playing playoff football.
03:12These young guys, they're going to put their bodies on the line.
03:14And with that comes that risk of injury.
03:17So for Brian Thomas Jr., I think he's still got a chance to make a bit of an inroad in
03:23this odd sport.
03:24And that's who I'd take as the fly there, Donnie.
03:25But I do think it probably will be a two-horse race once it's all said and done.
03:30Caleb Williams, Daniels, they've both been fantastic.
03:33And what a hit this has been for the NFL.
03:35I feel like we're spoiled.
03:36We usually don't see these rookies smashing it out the gates, and this year we've got
03:40two of them.
