00:00Let's get to the NFL.
00:04Diana Rossini with a tweet the Rams have called multiple teams
00:07about trading former Super Bowl MVP Cooper Cup sources tell
00:10Mike silver and Jordan Rodrigue and me the Rams have indicated
00:14a willingness to take on some 24 salary and are seeking a
00:17second round pick here.
00:19Cooper Cup dubsy when healthy one of the best wide receivers
00:23in football.
00:23Is it a smart move that the Rams are looking to move on to
00:27recoup some of that draft capital and move on with their
00:30franchise a sign of the time.
00:32Sonny you win a Super Bowl and we have seen these lingering
00:35effects going through the next two three four years, but for
00:38the Rams, this wouldn't be great.
00:40I mean Cooper Cup as you highlighted when he is healthy
00:43one of the best wide receivers in the league still got plenty
00:47of upsides to the plenty of production haven't been in the
00:49mix since week two.
00:51They've been dealing with a little niggling injury, but for
00:55the Rams if they still want to stay relevant competitive, I
00:58know that two and four going in to answer week eight here for
01:01Thursday night football.
01:02They need Cooper Cup in the mix.
01:04It's not enough just to have you know, you're number one in
01:07puking the cool once he's back there fully fit and healthy.
01:10But for me Cooper Cup, I'd be trying to hold on to him.
01:13But for any other right, you know outside looking in this
01:16would be a fantastic addition.
01:18If you're sitting right around 500 trying to make a little
01:21playoff push going through the back half of the year Cooper
01:24Cup would be a very very welcome in that wide receiving
01:28room plenty of upside and always one of the more professional
01:30players in that in terms of how he approaches the game.
01:33So I'd like to see it.
01:34I'd like to see him stay out here on the West Coast, but for
01:37Cooper Cup could be headed to greener pastures got to be
01:41proactive as a franchise it like if you see this season playing
01:44out there two and four as you said Dubsy, they're going to
01:45play good football team on Thursday night.
01:47You're two and five.
01:48I don't think you're making the playoffs and it's time to maybe
01:50look towards the future.
01:51Maybe Cooper Cup isn't a part of that.
01:53Why because the Rams now also from an Adam Schepter tweet or
01:55designating wide receiver Puka Nukuwa for return from IR.
01:59That's the future.
02:00That's the young guy that's going to carry you through the
02:02next five to ten years of your franchise and hopefully he's
02:04going to be a dominant player.
02:06But also if you do pick up a win on Thursday night, you're
02:09now three and four Nukuwa coming back Cooper Cup, obviously
02:12back in the fold.
02:13Maybe it's time to hold on to those players.
02:15So it is interesting to see how this is going to play out.
02:18Dubsy, but Puka he's going to come back into the fold sooner
02:20than later.
02:22Yeah, and Puka Nukuwa, I mean, he was absolute revelation last
02:26season.
02:26I know he won a lot of fantasy leagues out there for the
02:29betters and look plenty of upside.
02:31He was underrated coming out of the draft there, but certainly
02:34looks to be a fantastic product for the Rams and certainly
02:37something they could build around their move through the next
02:40couple of years.
02:41They've got that run game to lay that foundation.
02:43Kyron Williams.
02:44He's been absolutely fantastic.
02:46But for Matty Stafford, you want the one, two, three punch if
02:50you can keep it, but it looks like time is ticking, Cooper
02:53Cup, he could be on the move and Puka Nukuwa could be getting
02:57set, but he's big return.
02:59So get ready to put him in those lineups.
03:01Dubsy, anytime I hear a franchise is thinking about moving
03:04on from their superstar players.
03:06How do you buy in on that?
03:07Because if you look at the Rams at the Fandula Sportsbook, team
03:09win total six and a half, which means seven has to cash.
03:12If you're trading away Puka Nukuwa, who says you're not going
03:14to trade away other players on that team and not sending your
03:16white flag up.
03:17The playoffs are a long shot at a plus 610 price.
03:19The NFC West to win.
03:20That's a 10-1 here and the worst record in the NFL at 31-1.
03:24Is there any buy-in opportunities, Dubs, for you with those
03:28Rams?
03:29No, I think it's a pretty grim outlook starting with Thursday
03:32night football.
03:33The Vikings, they're one of the best teams right down the mix.
03:36Then they go on the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks up there
03:39in Seattle and then welcome in the Dolphins.
03:42So there's a very good chance that they don't even pick up a
03:44win going through the next three and it certainly would be enough
03:48to sell the farm, shop up, move on to the next one.
03:51Tough beat, tough out, but no, it's not a great outlook for the
03:55Rams at this point of the season.
03:57Unfortunately, Donnie, with so much parity in the National
04:00Football League, injury, health, you need a bit of a good rub,
04:04especially at this point of the season. 49ers don't have it.
04:07The Rams don't have it.
04:08So it's been tough sledding early.
04:10I'll tell you what's going to be nuts too, because you look at
04:12that line on Thursday night.
04:13Minnesota finally took their first loss of the season, but still
04:15a quality team.
04:16Only a three-point favorite here at the Fanville Sportsbook.
04:19Even some outlets, Dubzy, already down to a two and a half total
04:22in that game, listed at 48 and a half. The last stand for the Rams
04:26Thursday night, Dubzy. Quick preview from you.
04:28Did they get it done?
04:29Can they hang around?
04:30What happens?
04:31No, I don't think so.
04:32I think it's going to be a big bounce back for the Vikings.
04:35I think there's levels to this thing and you know, as coach said
04:38with the NBA, they just don't have the horses.
04:41I just don't think the Rams have the health.
04:43I don't think they have the pieces.
04:44You know, McVay's obviously one of my favorite head coaches in
04:48the business.
04:49He can scheme up with the best of them, but I just think that's
04:51a really fishy line.
04:53I'm leaning towards the Vikings in a primetime spot.
04:55I just don't think the Rams have the weapons.
