00:00Pretty much, although I played it off on the on the text thread, I saw all of J.J. McCarthy.
00:09Mm hmm. I knew all of it. I knew it. Pretty much the first quarter, the first half of
00:16the Rams game yesterday. And I caught a tiny, tiny bit of chargers as well. OK, I so I'll
00:23start off with this. I didn't catch a lot of the Rams game yesterday, but I did catch
00:29kind of what was the most important part of the Rams game. So Stetson Bennett, who
00:34was the two time champion quarterback from Georgia, who who got drafted, I want to say
00:40in like the fourth round by the Rams, not this past draft, the previous draft. He comes
00:45to the Rams and in training camp, he disappears. And no one ever told you this story. But,
00:52you know, they've called it mental health. I don't know if it was mental health, if it
00:56was some sort of a rehab that I literally do not know. OK, and he's not a superstar.
01:02So it wasn't like I had to dig into that, you know, but he was gone. Now he's like the
01:07legitimate backup quarterback of the Rams, at least going into the season. At least that's
01:10what you think, because Jimmy Garoppolo suspended for however many games it is. I want to say
01:14the first two to four games. So Stetson Bennett's got to get some playing time.
01:18They forgot even Jimmy. I forgot Jimmy. Jimmy's even there. And even though. Yeah, right.
01:23But Stetson Bennett's got to get playing time for the Rams. He had thrown four interceptions
01:27against the Cowboys. And wait a second, threw a fifth interception at the end of the game.
01:33But there was a holding penalty by the Cowboys that negated the interception. So the Rams
01:38maintained possession and Stetson Bennett winds up throwing the game winning touchdown
01:45pass in the waning seconds of the game. And it was a beauty because he's rolling to his
01:50left and he side arms the ball and throws this incredible touchdown pass. Rams win the
01:56game. And so you go from throwing four interceptions and everybody be like, this guy's socks to
02:01a guy who you're like, you know what? That was a hell of a pass. And even though he's
02:05got four interceptions, he'll leave that game feeling pretty darn good about the fact that
02:09the team won and he threw that touchdown pass at the end.
02:12I'm curious why Brown is laughing, bro. You really going to come on this show and talk
02:19about one pass this and Bennett through and he had full interceptions in a preseason game.
