00:47I think a little bit of excitement and like you said, just finally, it's been a long training

00:54Just putting in a lot of work.

00:56I feel like it's been a long two to three months and the season's finally around the
01:01corner and I'm just ready to unleash the beast, man.

01:16When you got here, did you see like some of these guys, they're already on that same page
01:20and they're already kind of like back in championship mode trying to get back to that finals?
01:25No, for sure.
01:28Everybody's been working hard.
01:29You know, I come back to the gym late night.
01:31The whole team is here.
01:33So it is amazing to see from the strength coaches to the medical staff, everybody just
01:40locked inside.
01:41So just amazing to see and just get energy to feed off.

01:50Do you agree with the saying, you can't go 82-0 without winning the first one?
01:56Because my co-host thought that the Stars didn't really need to work that hard to win

02:10I mean, that's really impossible.
02:13So I just think, man, it starts from day one and that's even before the first game training

02:20So if we want to accomplish the ultimate goal, I just feel like I have to be locked in from
02:24before when it starts.
02:25So by the time it does start, you're already ready to go, man.
02:30I just want to clarify, obviously, I hope you guys beat the Spurs and roll from there.
02:36But we had people on our airwaves, on our stations, saying that if the Stars lost their
02:41season opener, they were done for, which is the most absurd thing I've ever heard in my
02:46life.

02:49You win some, you lose some.
02:50It has to come with sports, period, life.
02:52But definitely, if we can put in enough effort to win the game because it's a game and not
02:58just because it's our first, that's definitely, like I said, a good energy to feed off going
