Lawmaker accepts neuropsychiatric, drug test challenge   La Union Rep. Francisco Paolo Ortega says he is ready to undergo a drug test after Vice  President Sara Duterte on Oct. 22, 2024 challenged lawmakers who are members of the young guns or reelectionists to subject themselves to a televised drug and neuropsychiatric test. Ortega, however, dared Duterte to testify under oath to shed light on the issues surrounding the alleged misuse of confidential funds in the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Education. 00:00Paul, Vice President Sandoval spoke to us earlier and he said that you are challenging young guns and re-electionists to do a drug test.

00:17He said that he will conduct a drug test and a psychological test.

00:21What is your reaction to this challenge?

00:25First of all, this is a new challenge for me.

00:29First of all, I will have to testify under oath. That's the first challenge.

00:33Then, we follow up with the other challenges because we might get stuck with a lot of challenges.

00:40So, I don't have a problem with conducting a drug test or a neuropsychological test because I don't take drugs.

00:50So, anytime. But my challenge is to testify under oath and answer the questions specifically from a good government.
