00:00The province of Albay is now under a state of calamity due to the flooding caused by the Christine typhoon.

00:05The province has also ordered the immediate evacuation of residents in the affected areas due to flooding, floods, and landslides.

00:21The province of Albay is officially declared under a state of calamity by the San Gonjong Pan-Dalawigan.

00:27Our Vice Governor Ray Verde is leading their regular session this afternoon.

00:33According to the recommendation of Engineer Dante Baklao, Officer-in-Charge of Albay Public Safety Emergency Management Office, or APSIMO,

00:44the province needs this because of the massive flooding in various towns and villages in the area.

00:50There is also a sign of landslides and a dire flow of debris around the area.

00:57According to the Massive Evacuation Order,

00:59Acting Governor and PRMC Chair Glenda Ong Bungkaw of the entire province of Bado Do Milim,

01:05today, all measures have been taken to ensure the safety of every resident and include the zero-causality goal of the Dalawigan.

01:15Less than 134,000 people should be saved from the 15 houses and 3 villages here.

01:23Meanwhile, more than 2,400 people are stranded in various parts of the region.

01:30Most of them are in the court of tobacco and funeral homes in various parts of the Bicol region.
