DS Automobiles is on the verge of reaching a new historic, symbolic milestone. Having competed in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship since its second season, the French car manufacturer is preparing to tackle its tenth season of activity in the top series reserved for 100% electric single-seaters, already boasting two double drivers' and manufacturers' titles in its palmarès, won in 2019 and 2020.
DS Automobiles, which has continued its sporting partnership with PENSKE AUTOSPORT since 2022, today unveils its DS E-TENSE FE25 Gen3 Evo, the single-seater that will officially debut on the Spanish circuit of Valencia from 4 to 7 November, during the official pre-season tests in preparation for Season 11.
The DS E-TENSE FE25, in its dark black livery with gold stripes, boasts a brand new powertrain, the result of two years of development by DS Performance. The advanced technological unit now incorporates the non plus ultra of the technical know-how of the DS Automobiles racing department.
Combined with four-wheel drive (in 350 kW mode) and new tyres that ensure optimal road holding, the new powertrain (composed of inverter, gearbox and engine) is highly efficient and aims to make the drivers' job as easy as possible.
With Jean-Eric Vergne, the only two-time Formula E champion and holder of the record for pole positions in the series, and the talented Maximilian Günther at the wheel, the DS E-TENSE FE25 promises to take the DS PENSKE team to new trophies.
