00:00Once again on Iraqi top, Tennessee handles Alabama, maybe
00:05handles was too strong of word, but the Crimson Tide, who have
00:09won 16 of the last eight meetings against the Vols 15
00:13straight leading up to 2022. The last two times they have been to
00:17Knoxville, they have come away with an L low scoring game
00:22scoreless in the opening quarter, Bama led by seven at
00:26the break, seven zip in the second half. It was mostly
00:30Tennessee, Nikoi Ameliava making plays when needed. Dylan
00:34Sampson might be the best running back in the conference
00:39and Jalen Milrow continues to turn over the football in four
00:43SEC games. Now for the Crimson Tide, six INTs in four
00:48conference contests as Tennessee wins outright on rocky top as a
00:52three and a half point dog, 24 to 17, handing Alabama its
00:57second loss of the season.
00:59Yeah, take away from this game is what you actually had in Nick
01:02Saban. Now granted, Kalen DeBoer beats George, like, man, we
01:05might add an upgrade at coaching. Obviously, people
01:08knew that wasn't going to be the case. And I don't even know if
01:10that's his fault. Jalen Milrow has just got to be a better
01:12football player on the road. And as you said, taking care of the
01:15football when it means most. Alabama have a seven to nothing
01:18lead at the half. Tennessee couldn't get anything done on
01:20offense. And then you see that final total 41 rushes as a team
01:25220 yards, 5.4 yards per carry and two touchdowns. It was the
01:29ground and pound that was sticking with it for Tennessee,
01:32which is why they won that game. Six and one. Look, I don't know
01:35grand scheme of things how good Tennessee is going to be. But
01:38it's always great when you beat Alabama, specifically at home,
01:41the cigars wafting through the air, the smoke billowing around.
01:45You saw the head coach there given that interview. It's
01:47always great to be in Alabama, no matter where you're at. But
01:50it's interesting for Bama. How can they make their way now to
01:53the college football playoff picture once again, with two
01:56losses in the SEC. It's great that there's 12 teams, but we
01:59are seeing an Alabama team that's really flawed. And if we
02:02remember, Georgia had them down after that massive comeback,
02:06they legitimately should have three losses already on the
02:09season and one of those to Vanderbilt that can't happen.
