00:00:00As we wrap it up today, remember, if you're getting married in or around Seattle, Dream
00:00:16Day Cake is the go-to for your wedding cake.
00:00:20I'm Priya Parker, and I'll see you next time on Make It, Bake It, Cake It.
00:00:30Hey, Mom.
00:00:34You're here early.
00:00:35Thanks again for covering school drop-off today.
00:00:38Mm-hmm.
00:00:39Sure.
00:00:40Hi, honey.
00:00:41Mom, why is there a strange man in my yard trimming my flowers?
00:00:46That's Rick.
00:00:47I met him at pickleball.
00:00:52He's a widower.
00:00:53He loves doing yard work, and your yard needs work, so I just said, have at it.
00:00:59Hi, Grandma.
00:01:00Hey, kiddo.
00:01:01Good morning.
00:01:02Grab some breakfast, and no lollygagging.
00:01:05We all need to be on time today.
00:01:08Good morning, Emma.
00:01:09Get some breakfast.
00:01:10It's too early to eat.
00:01:11And remember, I told you I like to skip breakfast.
00:01:14And I told you that breakfast kick-starts your metabolism, helps you burn more calories
00:01:18throughout the day, and fuels your brain and body.
00:01:20I googled benefits of eating breakfast and printed these articles for you.
00:01:24You can't be serious.
00:01:25But I am.
00:01:26Seriously.
00:01:27Very serious.
00:01:28Breakfast.
00:01:29I'll eat, but I'll do it in protest.
00:01:30Noted.
00:01:31Okay, so we have Gary's basketball game after school today, and I think that's it.
00:01:35We're not as busy as usual.
00:01:36Is Dad coming to my game?
00:01:38He says he is.
00:01:39Yeah, I'll believe it when I see him.
00:01:40Emma.
00:01:41What?
00:01:42We all know Dad's not very reliable.
00:01:43He's always so busy.
00:01:45Okay, kids, whenever you're ready, let's go.
00:01:48Grandma, are you okay?
00:01:52I'm fine.
00:01:56I just thought I'd take a little breakfast out to Rick.
00:01:58He's been working pretty hard.
00:02:03Hey!
00:02:04How's it going out here?
00:02:07It's a nice yard.
00:02:08Maybe you need some energy?
00:02:10Oh, thanks very much.
00:02:11Is it just me, or is Grandma acting a little weird?
00:02:13She's acting really weird.
00:02:19And please wish your dad a very happy 75th from all of us.
00:02:29Good morning, Devin.
00:02:30Did you see the new episode?
00:02:32I watched it this morning.
00:02:34That triple-tiered cake was an inspiration.
00:02:37Our cakes are just as good.
00:02:39Yeah, but we're still more of a best-kept secret kind of place.
00:02:42Any response on your application?
00:02:44Nothing other than it was received.
00:02:46Ugh, sudden mood change.
00:02:48Your husband just walked in.
00:02:51I have to go out of town.
00:02:53Seriously?
00:02:54No.
00:02:55Hello.
00:02:56How are you?
00:02:57Not the best day we're all having today.
00:02:58This again?
00:02:59Come on.
00:03:00You're fine, the weather's great, and I have to go out of town for work.
00:03:03Can't somebody else go?
00:03:04You've been traveling so much lately.
00:03:06I know, but there's a senior financial analyst job opening at the end of the year,
00:03:09and I have to take on all extra trip and work right now.
00:03:12I want that promotion.
00:03:14And what about Gary's game?
00:03:17I'll have to miss it.
00:03:19I can't be two places at the same time, and I have to be in Brussels, so...
00:03:22Fine.
00:03:23I will cover for you.
00:03:24Again.
00:03:25But you need to text the kids and tell them,
00:03:26and then you need to spend time with them when you come back.
00:03:29Yeah, yeah.
00:03:30I know the drill.
00:03:36Wow.
00:03:38This place looks good.
00:03:40When you said you wanted to open a bakery, I thought it was a terrible idea.
00:03:43But now...
00:03:45I'm glad we did.
00:03:48You need to remind him that this is your bakery, not his.
00:03:53Okay.
00:03:58Oh!
00:04:00Ow!
00:04:01Oh!
00:04:03Michael!
00:04:04Maggie!
00:04:05Hi!
00:04:06Wow!
00:04:07Hi!
00:04:08I feel like I haven't seen you in a while.
00:04:09Yeah, you haven't.
00:04:10Anyone ever tell you you've got a hard head?
00:04:11Yes.
00:04:12I've heard that before.
00:04:13Well, they were right.
00:04:14Oh, hang on.
00:04:16Well, from your hard head to a hard-headed client, I've got to take this.
00:04:19Okay.
00:04:20I'll see you inside.
00:04:21See you inside.
00:04:22Save me a seat.
00:04:23Of course.
00:04:24Yes, yes.
00:04:30Who are you looking for?
00:04:31What?
00:04:32No one.
00:04:33No one?
00:04:34Or Zach?
00:04:35I don't know what's more embarrassing.
00:04:37You knowing about Zach or being in a freshman basketball game.
00:04:41Being here?
00:04:42Totally not cool.
00:04:43Supporting your brother?
00:04:44Totally cool.
00:04:45Do you think he wanted to go to all your dance performances, lacrosse games, piano recitals?
00:04:50Message received.
00:04:51Go Bulldogs!
00:04:54That was good.
00:04:56Your dad come today?
00:04:57He said he was.
00:04:58Yours?
00:04:59Yeah, he never misses a game.
00:05:01Hey, Maggie.
00:05:03Hey!
00:05:04You made it!
00:05:14Well, you know, we're only down by eight.
00:05:17That's actually not too bad for us.
00:05:19I just really want them to win a game.
00:05:21They work so hard and a win would really bolster their confidence.
00:05:24Mom, are you serious?
00:05:26They're terrible.
00:05:27Am I?
00:05:28What?
00:05:29They are.
00:05:30I'm just keeping it real.
00:05:31I'm sorry, you just have to ignore her.
00:05:33She's a teenager.
00:05:44Good game, guys!
00:05:45Good game, boys.
00:05:46Good game!
00:05:47Did you see the scoreboard?
00:05:48We got crushed.
00:05:49Well, it's not about how much you win or lose by.
00:05:52It's about, help me out here.
00:05:54It's about, uh, I think the other team was cheating.
00:05:59I thought you were going to use some PR skills.
00:06:01Yeah, I didn't have anything there.
00:06:02You played, you played with heart.
00:06:05I'm just keeping it real.
00:06:07Dad, can we take Garrett and Pete's Alley with us?
00:06:09Absolutely.
00:06:10You guys want to come to Pete's Alley?
00:06:11We would love to.
00:06:17I forgot about this place.
00:06:18We used to come here all the time.
00:06:20I'm not sure why we stopped.
00:06:21Uh, well, if your reason is anything like mine,
00:06:24it's because you got schooled at skee-ball by some random 12-year-old girl
00:06:29and you didn't want to show your face around here anymore.
00:06:34Will looks like he's doing a lot better.
00:06:38Yeah, yeah, he is.
00:06:40You know, it gets a little easier every passing year.
00:06:43And I couldn't help but notice you're not wearing your wedding ring.
00:06:47Uh, no. No, I'm not.
00:06:50I kept telling them we had to find a way to move on and it turned out that I wasn't.
00:06:55And, uh, well, they called me on it.
00:06:56So, no ring.
00:07:00Sometimes moving on from anything is easier said than done.
00:07:04Tell me about it.
00:07:07I think Nicole would be very proud of you.
00:07:10Both of you.
00:07:16There it is. Thank you.
00:07:17All right.
00:07:18Come on over.
00:07:19Pizza time.
00:07:20Pizza.
00:07:21Pizza party.
00:07:24Who gets the jalapeno?
00:07:26I want it.
00:07:27It's all yours, you know.
00:07:28Yes, get in there.
00:07:38Dad missed my game.
00:07:40Again.
00:07:41I know, honey.
00:07:42And he wanted me to tell you how sorry he is.
00:07:44He got called away on business to Belgium.
00:07:47I mean, he could have told me himself.
00:07:49It only takes like three seconds to send a text.
00:07:51I know.
00:07:52And he's-
00:07:53Mom, stop.
00:07:55You don't have to make excuses for him.
00:08:02You're lagged. I knew lab partners today.
00:08:04I know.
00:08:05I hope I get someone smart.
00:08:07And you hope you get Zach.
00:08:11Oh.
00:08:12Jeff.
00:08:13Kind of cute, kind of smart.
00:08:14I could do worse.
00:08:15I did do worse.
00:08:17I got the new kid.
00:08:26Hi, Zach.
00:08:28Yo, Em.
00:08:30It's too bad we're not lab partners.
00:08:32I know.
00:08:33That would have been cool.
00:08:34But maybe we could hang out sometime.
00:08:36You know, do something.
00:08:38Yeah.
00:08:39Yeah, sure.
00:08:40Cool.
00:08:41I'll text you.
00:08:48Ooh, that looks nice.
00:08:56It's Friday night.
00:08:57Why are we conversating?
00:08:58Hey, so I was brainstorming some cake ideas and I wanted your input.
00:09:02Do you remember that episode of Make It, Bake It, Cake It?
00:09:04Where they used the-
00:09:05Maggie, you know my rule.
00:09:07I don't talk bakery stuff on my night off.
00:09:09I am covering the early shift tomorrow and you've got the night off.
00:09:12Go out.
00:09:13Do something fun.
00:09:14Right.
00:09:15It's Friday night.
00:09:16You're at the bike park.
00:09:17I'm assuming you're having a wheelie good time.
00:09:20See what I-
00:09:21Devin?
00:09:22Where'd you go?
00:09:25Okay.
00:09:26Do something fun.
00:09:37Woo!
00:09:47Yes!
00:10:03Maggie, can we talk for a minute?
00:10:05Uh, sure.
00:10:06Yeah, I know it's kind of a busy night, but it's, um...
00:10:10How, how was Brussels?
00:10:13Brief.
00:10:14Well, good.
00:10:15And, um, where are our kids?
00:10:18Oh, Lisa took them to grab milkshakes.
00:10:20I wanted to talk to you alone.
00:10:22Well, she is obviously the world's most perfect girlfriend.
00:10:26Fiancé.
00:10:28I'm sorry.
00:10:30What?
00:10:31Well, that's what I wanted to tell you.
00:10:32Um, Lisa and I are getting married.
00:10:35You're getting married?
00:10:37Yes.
00:10:38We're planning a small backyard ceremony at the end of next month.
00:10:42And, of course, we'd like you and the kids to be there.
00:10:45And do the kids know about this?
00:10:47Not yet.
00:10:48Wanted to tell you first.
00:10:50All right.
00:10:54Now you've told me.
00:10:57Yeah.
00:11:02Okay.
00:11:20So people complain about how noisy it is at a pickleball game.
00:11:23Have they never been to a Highline match?
00:11:25I've always wanted to play Highline.
00:11:27Me too.
00:11:28I want to do that too.
00:11:29We should go.
00:11:30Let's do that.
00:11:31One thing led to another and we started spending time together.
00:11:33And then more time.
00:11:35And the next thing I knew, we were a couple.
00:11:38Wow.
00:11:39Oh, honey.
00:11:40Rick is a great catch.
00:11:41And if I didn't make a move, somebody else would have.
00:11:44All of the widows at the tennis club had their eye on him.
00:11:46So when you told me you were out with the girls?
00:11:48I was with Rick.
00:11:49Book club?
00:11:50Rick.
00:11:51Pickleball?
00:11:52Oh, no. Pickleball was actually pickleball.
00:11:54With Rick.
00:11:55Why did you not tell me about him?
00:11:56Well, I just guess I was waiting for the right time.
00:11:59And part of me was afraid that, I don't know, I just didn't know how he'd react.
00:12:04Mom.
00:12:05I'm okay with it.
00:12:07I mean, at least I think I am.
00:12:09When you did, you caught me a little off guard that Dad's been gone for a while.
00:12:14And he would want you to be happy.
00:12:15I want you to be happy.
00:12:16I mean, seeing you with someone else, that's going to take me a little time to get used to.
00:12:20But I support you.
00:12:21Rick seems like a really nice guy.
00:12:23He is.
00:12:25And I'm happy.
00:12:26This is just great.
00:12:27So, my mom has a boyfriend, my daughter has a crush, and my ex-husband is getting married.
00:12:37David's getting married?
00:12:38Oh, yes.
00:12:39He is, at the end of the month.
00:12:41And yay, we're all invited.
00:12:42That's why I came by.
00:12:43I just wanted to tell you the happy news.
00:12:46Why? You don't seem so surprised.
00:12:48No, I'm not.
00:12:49David has proven time and time again that he's capable of moving on.
00:12:53It seems like everyone's capable of moving on except for me.
00:12:56Megs, nobody's holding you back.
00:12:59There's more to life than just work and kids.
00:13:02You're independent and you don't need a relationship, but there's nothing wrong with wanting one or looking for one.
00:13:11You know what? You're right.
00:13:12I haven't given dating much of a thought, but maybe I should give it a try.
00:13:17I could even bring a date to David's wedding.
00:13:21Yes.
00:13:23I'll do whatever I can to help.
00:13:25Well, I will need that, because I have not been on a date in 20 years.
00:13:28Maybe you just don't want to say that out loud.
00:13:35Hey, Mom.
00:13:40Good morning.
00:13:41Good morning, good morning. I brought coffee.
00:13:44Why are you here so early on a Saturday?
00:13:46Because I'm excited.
00:13:48I set you up with a blind date with Cecilia's nephew.
00:13:51You did what?
00:13:52He's single. He recently moved to town.
00:13:54You're single. You're looking to date.
00:13:56So you'll be meeting him for dinner tonight.
00:13:58I'm really sorry, but I cannot go.
00:14:00Of course you can.
00:14:02You want to start dating again.
00:14:04And dating's all about who you know and who they know.
00:14:07So I have a single daughter.
00:14:08Celia has a single nephew.
00:14:10One plus one equals...
00:14:13A blind date.
00:14:14Exactly.
00:14:19Oh, thank you.
00:14:22Hi.
00:14:23Welcome.
00:14:24I'm here to see George.
00:14:26Yes, the gentleman in the black shirt.
00:14:29Right this way.
00:14:32George.
00:14:33Hi, I'm Maggie.
00:14:35It's really nice to meet you. I hope you weren't waiting too long.
00:14:38No, you're right on time. I got here early.
00:14:40I was hungry.
00:14:42Really hungry.
00:14:47Can I get you something to drink while you look over the menu?
00:14:49That gentleman has already ordered his dinner.
00:14:53Oh, sure. I will have a club soda with lime.
00:14:56And how is the pasta pesto?
00:14:59It's one of my favorites.
00:15:00I will have that. Thank you so much.
00:15:02Of course.
00:15:13So I hear you just moved here.
00:15:19From where?
00:15:21I'm sorry, what was your question?
00:15:23You just moved here?
00:15:24Yeah, yeah, that's right.
00:15:33Who would pardon my reach?
00:15:35Now, do either of you care for coffee or dessert tonight?
00:15:38No.
00:15:39Yes, I'll have a coffee and a tiramisu, please.
00:15:42Can you excuse me for a minute? I'll be right back.
00:15:50Leave.
00:15:51What?
00:15:52This is a blind date, right?
00:15:54You can tell?
00:15:55Everyone in the restaurant can tell.
00:16:03Oh.
00:16:04This may be your only chance. Get out before he comes back.
00:16:06I can do that?
00:16:08Sure. We just need a believable excuse. Do you have kids?
00:16:10I do.
00:16:11Perfect. I'll tell them there was an emergency with one of your kids. A high fever. You apologized, but you had to go.
00:16:16Come on.
00:16:20Okay. Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. Thank you.
00:16:46Maggie.
00:16:48Maggie.
00:17:01Hi.
00:17:02Hi.
00:17:03You scared me.
00:17:04Sorry. I pulled up right here, and I was waving and yelling at you, and you were just locked on over here. Everything all right?
00:17:12It's kind of embarrassing.
00:17:17A dating app?
00:17:18Yes.
00:17:19Oh. Well, that's not embarrassing. You know, I'm actually on that one.
00:17:24You're on this?
00:17:25Yeah. I mean, I'm not very active. I'm cool dad MT.
00:17:30Oh, I see. This probably explains why I'm not very active.
00:17:34I'm a little surprised. You know, you had said that you weren't interested in dating after your divorce.
00:17:39Yeah, I know. But things change, and I am looking at this hoping there's some kind of dating advice, because besides a disastrous blind date, I haven't been on a date in 20 years.
00:17:50Oh. Well, I probably wouldn't announce that.
00:17:54I've been told that before.
00:17:57Well, I mean, if you're anything like me, you're probably just wildly out of practice. Maybe there's a way that we could help each other. Let's go on a date.
00:18:07Like a practice date. You know, we can observe each other in date mode and give helpful suggestions and constructive criticism.
00:18:18That's actually a really good idea.
00:18:20There you go. Well, how about tonight? I'll pick you up at 7.
00:18:26Wow. You're really out of practice. This is normally where you would respond to my comment and give an answer one way or the other.
00:18:33Yes. Yes. Let's go on a pretend date.
00:18:37Okay.
00:18:38I'll see you at 7.
00:18:39It's a date. It's a pretend date.
00:18:41Pretend date.
00:18:42I'll see you then.
00:18:45Huh.
00:18:51You went on a blind date? What in the 1986 is that?
00:18:55My mom set me up. I had to go.
00:18:57If you're serious about dating, you need to get on some dating apps.
00:19:00It's not that easy. I've looked. There's so many. There was one for farmers. There's one for bacon lovers. One even promised me I'd find my salad soulmate.
00:19:08Does anyone need a salad soulmate?
00:19:10So, not all dating apps are food-centric. It's important that you know that.
00:19:14And although you didn't really ask, I'm going to help you. Not necessarily because I want to, but because I obviously have to.
00:19:20Before I get on one of these apps, for practice, I'm going on a pretend date.
00:19:25A what now?
00:19:26A pretend date. We're going out as friends to practice.
00:19:29Sorry, but there is no such thing as a pretend date.
00:19:33Unknown number.
00:19:34Don't answer it. Unless you're actually concerned about your car's extended warranty.
00:19:38Hello, this is Maggie Delaney.
00:19:41What?
00:19:44Yes, of course I remember.
00:19:47We can absolutely make that happen.
00:19:50Thank you so much.
00:19:54That was make it, bake it, cake it.
00:19:56What?
00:19:57We're going to be on it.
00:19:58No way.
00:19:59Oh my goodness! This other bakery dropped out. They loved our application and we're filming here in two weeks.
00:20:07Oh, congratulations. That's amazing. This is going to be huge for the bakery.
00:20:12Thank you. This could really help us out with the second location.
00:20:15Well, we're going to have to have a viewing party when the episode airs.
00:20:18Mom, let's not get ahead of ourselves. There's a lot of work to be done before then.
00:20:22Hey mom, can I go to Shake Battle and Bowl tonight?
00:20:25With Lily? Sure.
00:20:26No. Zach just texted. Asked if I wanted to meet him there.
00:20:31You and Zach? Like a date?
00:20:34Sort of, I guess. I can go, right?
00:20:36As long as you're home by 11.
00:20:38So this is kind of weird. Since I have a date with Rick tonight, we all have dates.
00:20:44That is weird.
00:20:46Too weird. Let's not talk about it.
00:20:56Michael. Hi.
00:20:58Hi. You look great. You look nice.
00:21:01So do you.
00:21:03Ready to go?
00:21:04I hope so.
00:21:05Me too.
00:21:08Look at us. I'm on time. We look great. You look great.
00:21:12And we're making small talk. This is a good start.
00:21:16You're already better at dating than I thought. Than you thought.
00:21:18I thought I was.
00:21:19And we're making small talk. This is a good start.
00:21:22You're already better at dating than I thought. Than you thought.
00:21:26Should we?
00:21:27Yeah, just if only to stop me from speaking.
00:21:30Was Will excited about video game night? I know Gary was.
00:21:33Yeah, yeah, yeah. He was.
00:21:35He's already looking forward to that basketball tournament at the end of the year.
00:21:38Stop talking about it.
00:21:39I know. They were both telling me about that after school program.
00:21:42Wait, wait, wait. Okay, okay. Hold on, hold on.
00:21:45This is supposed to be a date.
00:21:47Yes.
00:21:48We should be getting to know each other. Not talking about our kids.
00:21:50That's true.
00:21:51As fantastic as they are.
00:21:52That's very good dating advice. We should both take that.
00:21:55I brushed up.
00:21:58Oh, right. I know this one.
00:22:00Nice. Yes. Very good work.
00:22:03Can I ask where we're going?
00:22:04Well, I did a little research.
00:22:06And by research, of course, I mean I interrogated your poor son.
00:22:10And he told me that you really liked the food you had on your trip to New Orleans.
00:22:14So, I am taking you to a cool little cafe called Cafe New Orleans.
00:22:21Jambalaya, po'boys, crawfish.
00:22:25Are you attempting to do a New Orleans accent right now?
00:22:27Yes, ma'am. I think I am.
00:22:28Can I give you some dating advice?
00:22:30I would just leave out all the accents.
00:22:32Just not do them.
00:22:33Okay.
00:22:35Noted.
00:22:37Arms in the bus. No accents.
00:22:40What did you ever know?
00:22:42That's true.
00:22:43Wow. Thank you.
00:22:45That is a lot of crawfish.
00:22:47That's a lot of crawfish.
00:22:50I'm only realizing now when we ordered the house special, I probably should have asked some questions.
00:22:54Because I am...
00:22:55This is... You've never had crawfish.
00:22:57I have not. But I trusted you to order.
00:22:59And now here we are.
00:23:00What a mistake.
00:23:01Gosh, no. I'm so happy we came here.
00:23:03This place is really cool.
00:23:04And I appreciate your effort.
00:23:05Okay.
00:23:06I've also heard that the best way to peel a crawfish is to have someone do it for you.
00:23:11That's you.
00:23:12That is one way.
00:23:13Now I got it. Very subtle gesturing.
00:23:16That is one way.
00:23:17But actually, I'm going to show you the real way.
00:23:21You get them like this.
00:23:23Okay.
00:23:24Twist.
00:23:26You dig. No, get in there.
00:23:28And Bob's your uncle.
00:23:30There's the meat. That's what we're looking for.
00:23:32That guy right there.
00:23:34Tastes better than it looks.
00:23:35Oh, it's really good.
00:23:36It's good.
00:23:37All right.
00:23:38Only 250 more to go.
00:23:41Get in there.
00:23:52I'm glad you can hang out tonight.
00:23:53This is fun.
00:23:54Yeah, it is.
00:23:56I love this place.
00:24:04Do you like the new chemistry lab?
00:24:08Not really.
00:24:09Science isn't my thing.
00:24:14I like the lab.
00:24:16And science.
00:24:27Oh, you people.
00:24:30Oh, you played right into my trap.
00:24:37I'd love to hear more about your family.
00:24:39Have you and Maggie always been close?
00:24:41We have.
00:24:43And even more so over the last few years.
00:24:47I lost Bob soon after she divorced.
00:24:50We were both dealing with, you know, our own kind of grief.
00:24:55The kids were young.
00:24:56She needed help.
00:24:57So I moved here to be close by.
00:25:00I'm glad you had someone.
00:25:02Yeah.
00:25:03After I lost Pat, we'd been married so long I forgot how to be alone.
00:25:10It's nice to have met someone whose company I enjoy so much.
00:25:17So good.
00:25:18Ah, the beignets.
00:25:19Beignets.
00:25:21Thank you very much.
00:25:23So if you don't mind me asking,
00:25:25So if you don't mind me asking,
00:25:27why the sudden interest in dating?
00:25:29Couple of things, I guess.
00:25:32I just felt like everyone was moving forward, moving on.
00:25:35My daughter started dating.
00:25:37My mom is in a relationship.
00:25:39And when I found out that David was getting married,
00:25:42I don't know, it just made me feel like I wasn't moving on.
00:25:47Were you upset by the wedding announcement?
00:25:50I mean, did you feel like you two might get back together?
00:25:53Oh, no. No, no, never.
00:25:55But it forced me into some kind of self-evaluation.
00:25:59This may seem petty or unimportant,
00:26:01but I would like to have a date at his wedding.
00:26:05I feel like I'd feel better.
00:26:06Or at least I think I would.
00:26:07I get it.
00:26:08You want somebody by your side for comfort and support
00:26:12during what is probably going to be pretty uncomfortable.
00:26:15Barry, thank you for reminding me.
00:26:17Or at least to make sure you don't leave the wedding in squad car.
00:26:20Yes, I need a friend.
00:26:22Oh, I cannot believe I didn't tell you.
00:26:24Do you know that show Make It, Bake It, Cake It?
00:26:26I do.
00:26:27I'm going to be on it.
00:26:28Sweet Sensations is going to be on it.
00:26:30Congratulations, that's amazing.
00:26:33Why are we having dessert here?
00:26:34You have a whole bakery.
00:26:36I do. Would you like to go?
00:26:39I would like that.
00:26:41You used to be home at 11, right?
00:26:43Pretty lame. I have a curfew, huh?
00:26:46No, I think it's cute.
00:26:50But since you have to be home,
00:26:52you could pull a fire, take off,
00:26:54and meet up with some of the guys over at the rocks.
00:26:57Yeah, that's cool.
00:27:02I'm going to go.
00:27:03I'm going to go.
00:27:04I'm going to go.
00:27:05I'm going to go.
00:27:06I'm going to go.
00:27:07I'm going to go.
00:27:08I'm going to go.
00:27:09I'm going to go.
00:27:18I should get going.
00:27:19The guys are already there.
00:27:28Okay, that chocolate cake looks incredible.
00:27:32Is that bacon on top?
00:27:34It is.
00:27:35And we add some crumbles inside the cake as well.
00:27:39Emma actually inspired it,
00:27:41and then she named it the Wakey Wakey Chocolate Cakey.
00:27:45We're going to have a piece.
00:27:46Oh, yes.
00:27:50So, Sweet Sensations, how did it all start?
00:27:55You don't know the story?
00:27:56I don't. Tell me.
00:27:57Here you go.
00:27:59Wow, okay. That's a piece of cake.
00:28:03So, when Emma was born,
00:28:06I knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom.
00:28:08And I was very fortunate that that was an option.
00:28:11And for fun, I started making elaborate cakes.
00:28:15I made...
00:28:17Do you like it?
00:28:18I think it might be the best thing I've ever had in my life.
00:28:20Carry on.
00:28:22Well, people started asking me to make cakes for them.
00:28:25So I started out very small,
00:28:27just baking out of the kitchen in the house.
00:28:30And then when the kids got older,
00:28:32I had more time on my hands,
00:28:33so I started researching what goes into opening a bakery,
00:28:36put together a proposal,
00:28:37and with David's help, secured a loan,
00:28:39and I opened this place.
00:28:41Impressive. A self-made woman.
00:28:43And we're hoping to open a second location.
00:28:46I'm sure being on Make It, Bake It, Cake It will help with that?
00:28:50We hope so.
00:28:51I mean, a lot of bakeries,
00:28:52they double, triple in business after being featured.
00:28:55I bet.
00:28:56But I didn't really think about all that went into it.
00:28:59I don't know if I'm going to be that interesting.
00:29:03Come on. You've got an incredible backstory.
00:29:05Your bakery is beautiful,
00:29:08and your desserts are, uh,
00:29:12they're amazing.
00:29:14I wish I had your confidence.
00:29:17Let me help you.
00:29:18What do you mean?
00:29:19Come on. I'm a PR guy.
00:29:21I am in public relations.
00:29:22This is what I do.
00:29:23I help people all the time get ready for presentations,
00:29:26pitch meetings, and interviews.
00:29:28I can help.
00:29:29You would do that? You have time?
00:29:31Absolutely. I would love to.
00:29:34Well, then I accept.
00:29:35Well, then I accept your acceptance.
00:29:38Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to finish my cake.
00:29:41I'm glad you love it.
00:29:42Mm-hmm.
00:29:47Oh, I had so much fun tonight.
00:29:48I forgot we were on a pretend date.
00:29:50Yeah, so did I.
00:29:54Now that we have arrived at your door,
00:29:56signaling the end of the evening,
00:29:57I can say with certainty, Maggie Delaney,
00:30:00you definitely know how to date.
00:30:02So do you.
00:30:03You know what else I decided?
00:30:05You are my barometer.
00:30:08I don't think I know what that means.
00:30:10You're my indicator.
00:30:11Just knowing you,
00:30:12I just feel like there are good guys out there,
00:30:14and if I keep looking, I'm going to find one.
00:30:17So basically, you're saying I'm a good guy?
00:30:19No, I didn't actually say that.
00:30:20You didn't say it, but you implied it.
00:30:22I guess a little bit, maybe, partially.
00:30:27Well, this was fun.
00:30:28Yeah.
00:30:30Well, I guess I should.
00:30:31Yeah.
00:30:33Good night.
00:30:34Yes, good night.
00:30:45Barometer.
00:30:48Well, I think I could do worse.
00:30:57So after a great pretend date,
00:31:00I think I'm ready for the real thing.
00:31:02So a single guy picked up a single girl,
00:31:04took her to dinner,
00:31:05spent three and a half hours with her,
00:31:07and paid the check?
00:31:09I'm sorry, it was a date.
00:31:10It wasn't a date.
00:31:12He is the one who specifically labeled it as pretend,
00:31:15and then when I told him
00:31:16we were going to be on Make It, Bake It, Cake It,
00:31:18he offered to help me prep.
00:31:22So he's not interested,
00:31:24but a busy single father
00:31:26is just magically going to have time to help you.
00:31:28Yeah, right.
00:31:29I told you, we're friends.
00:31:31Our kids are friends.
00:31:33But it was really fun,
00:31:34and I'm starting to feel more confident
00:31:36you're going to help me with online dating, right?
00:31:38Yes, here.
00:31:39Take my phone, download all the apps I have,
00:31:41and start working on your profile.
00:31:43Wait, I have to be on more than one?
00:31:55Em?
00:31:56Hello.
00:31:57You watching this?
00:31:58Mm-hmm.
00:32:00You sure?
00:32:01Because you're not really paying attention.
00:32:03Sorry.
00:32:05It's just,
00:32:06I met up with Zach at Shake Battle and Bowl on Saturday.
00:32:09He was kind of ignoring me.
00:32:11Oh.
00:32:12I didn't know you were with Zach.
00:32:13Yeah, we just started hanging out.
00:32:15That's...
00:32:16great.
00:32:22Let's see what you've got.
00:32:25Cool mom MD?
00:32:26Really?
00:32:27I like it.
00:32:28People may think you're a doctor.
00:32:29And when they come to me for free medical advice,
00:32:32they're going to quickly realize that I'm not.
00:32:34Not bad, but it could be a little better.
00:32:36Remember, your profile is your first impression.
00:32:38People decide within a matter of seconds
00:32:40whether or not to pursue you.
00:32:41In seconds?
00:32:42That's quick and harsh.
00:32:44Maybe, but that's how dating gets done.
00:32:46And you can chat with potential matches
00:32:47sitting on your couch in your pajamas.
00:32:49I do like my pajamas.
00:32:51Here, I made a few changes.
00:32:53Okay.
00:32:55Intelligent, funny, successful single mom
00:32:58looking for someone to share everyday adventures with.
00:33:01That sounds great.
00:33:02Couldn't that be read as a little braggy or intimidating?
00:33:05Maggie, that is nothing to hide.
00:33:07And at this stage, you've earned the right to brag a little.
00:33:10If you say so.
00:33:11Okay, one, two, three, post!
00:33:15Okay, that was a little overly dramatic,
00:33:17but I'm proud of you.
00:33:19And remember, you have to be proactive.
00:33:20Mr. Wonderful isn't just going to come knocking.
00:33:24Michael!
00:33:25Hi.
00:33:26Hi.
00:33:29Hey.
00:33:30Hi.
00:33:31Hi.
00:33:32Hi, you must be Devin.
00:33:33I've heard so much about you.
00:33:35Nice to meet you.
00:33:36Michael.
00:33:37Hey, Devin.
00:33:38This is Michael.
00:33:39Oh, okay.
00:33:40Excuse me.
00:33:41I just came by to grab this.
00:33:44Will loves your cheesecake, and it's his half birthday,
00:33:46so we're celebrating.
00:33:48I know it sounds kind of weird,
00:33:49but we're celebrate-the-little-things kind of people.
00:33:52Please wish him a very happy birthday from me.
00:33:55I will do that.
00:33:57So, Saturday night, that was fun.
00:34:00It was really fun.
00:34:06She's definitely watching.
00:34:07She's watching.
00:34:08Yep.
00:34:09I was wondering if, I don't know,
00:34:12if you wanted a little more practice.
00:34:14Actually, thanks to you,
00:34:15I think I'm finally ready for the real thing.
00:34:17I just signed up for that dating app.
00:34:20Oh!
00:34:21That's me.
00:34:22That is definitely you.
00:34:23My profile.
00:34:24Cool Mom MD.
00:34:25Okay.
00:34:26People might think that you're a . . .
00:34:27Doctor.
00:34:28Yeah, I just figured that out.
00:34:29Okay.
00:34:30Cake doctor.
00:34:31A cake doctor.
00:34:32I'm a doctor of cakes.
00:34:35All right.
00:34:36Well, I was also going to ask
00:34:37if you wanted to set up a practice session for the show.
00:34:40You could come by the office and talk it through.
00:34:43Oh, that sounds great.
00:34:44We're less than two weeks away,
00:34:46and I definitely don't feel ready.
00:34:48Great.
00:34:49No, you're not ready.
00:34:50You're ready.
00:34:51Yes.
00:34:52We want you to feel ready.
00:34:53I hope you want me to feel ready.
00:34:54We'll schedule a session.
00:34:55I'll text you, and we'll make a plan.
00:34:57Text me.
00:34:58Okay.
00:35:00I'm going to go.
00:35:02I'll text you, and we'll set up a plan.
00:35:05I already said that.
00:35:06Okay.
00:35:07Happy birthday, Will.
00:35:10It was nice to meet you.
00:35:11Nice to meet you.
00:35:12Take care.
00:35:14Like I said,
00:35:15this thing is a pretend date.
00:35:21Okay, but why is it called a beaker?
00:35:23That name doesn't make any sense.
00:35:24Probably because it has a beak for pouring.
00:35:26No, still doesn't make sense.
00:35:32Next up, we have biomolecules, oxidation reduction,
00:35:36and chemical kinetics.
00:35:37Okay, but before we do that,
00:35:38I heard about two atoms that were walking down the street.
00:35:41One says, uh-oh, I think I lost an electron.
00:35:44The other says, you sure?
00:35:45And the first says, yeah, I'm positive.
00:35:53I actually like chemistry jokes.
00:35:55Periodically.
00:35:59Can we stop here?
00:36:00I have to have dinner with my dad tonight.
00:36:02Oh, yeah.
00:36:03Totally cool.
00:36:04I'll take off.
00:36:13So, you think you're going to go to homecoming?
00:36:16Yeah, totally.
00:36:17Just waiting for Zach to ask me to make it, you know, official.
00:36:20Cool.
00:36:21That's awesome.
00:36:24I'll see you in class.
00:36:33So, now what?
00:36:34I just wait for hits or flirts or winks?
00:36:37Wait for them or send them.
00:36:39Up to you.
00:36:40Oh, I just got a wink from a guy named Steve.
00:36:43What do I do?
00:36:45Look at his profile.
00:36:46If it's interesting, wink back.
00:36:48If not, ignore it.
00:36:50While I love tutoring you in dating apps,
00:36:52I actually called for another reason.
00:36:54What do you think about girls night?
00:36:55Just you and me on Friday.
00:36:57Oh, that sounds great.
00:36:58I'm in.
00:37:00Hey, the kids just got home.
00:37:01Let's talk details tomorrow.
00:37:03Can do.
00:37:04I'm out.
00:37:06Hey, how'd it go?
00:37:09Dad made zero effort.
00:37:11Just ordered a pizza.
00:37:12And he only wanted to see us to say that he and Lisa are getting married.
00:37:16How do you feel about that news?
00:37:19No, no, no.
00:37:20They've been together a while, so I'm not really that surprised.
00:37:23Gary seemed kind of bummed, though.
00:37:26Can I ask you something?
00:37:28Sure.
00:37:29Why did you and Dad get married?
00:37:31I mean, you're both so different.
00:37:34Because we were young and in love and we wanted to spend our lives together.
00:37:38But you didn't.
00:37:39You got divorced.
00:37:40Well, we tried to make it work for a really long time.
00:37:43We both loved you and Gary and the family we created, but we had grown too far apart on too many things.
00:37:50Okay, so like in the beginning, how did you know that you liked him?
00:37:55Well, it's not going to be the same for everyone.
00:37:58It's going to be a combination of things.
00:38:00Common interests, the ability to talk to one another, similar sense of humor.
00:38:05Your dad and I had all of that when we were starting out.
00:38:08But if you are asking me about you, this may sound old-fashioned, but I think you want a gentleman.
00:38:16Someone who treats you well, but also knows you are strong, you are smart, you are capable.
00:38:21He lets you be you.
00:38:23You shouldn't have to shrink in order to make him feel big.
00:38:26And if someone isn't all that?
00:38:28Well, sometimes two people aren't meant to be together, and that is okay.
00:38:33Are we talking about Zach?
00:38:35Yeah.
00:38:36After we met up that time, I thought he was going to ask me to Homecoming.
00:38:40But he hasn't really said much to me until today when he finally texted.
00:38:45All he said was you.
00:38:46Oh, I'm sorry. I don't really know how to interpret that.
00:38:49Me either.
00:38:50Just go out there, have fun, find your way.
00:38:54Just let the relationship and dating stuff, it'll work itself out.
00:38:59Is it Zach?
00:39:02No, it's my lab partner, John. He sent a science meme.
00:39:07Oh, that's funny.
00:39:08He's such a dork.
00:39:09That's a beaker with a beak.
00:39:11John's funny.
00:39:29Who's ready for girls' night?
00:39:30Maggie is.
00:39:31Oh, you're putting yourself in the third person now.
00:39:34It's new, random, and a little weird.
00:39:36Here, I grabbed your mail.
00:39:42What?
00:39:45David's wedding invitation.
00:39:48You all right?
00:39:49Yeah, I'm fine.
00:39:50He found his soulmate, good for him.
00:39:52Maybe tonight I'll find mine.
00:39:57This will get your mind off David's wedding.
00:39:59I thought it would be fun, and the interactive style makes it easy to meet people.
00:40:03And, nope, the men-to-women ratio.
00:40:07Also, note, I might be the oldest person here.
00:40:11Hi, I'm Isaac. We need a couple more for our foosball game. Do you guys want to join?
00:40:17Definitely. I'm Devin, this is Maggie.
00:40:20Very nice to meet you guys. Devin, do you want to be my partner?
00:40:23Absolutely.
00:40:24Look at that.
00:40:25Oh, perfect.
00:40:26Maggie, Alex, Alex.
00:40:27Hi, I'm Maggie.
00:40:28Nice to meet you.
00:40:29Maggie, Devin.
00:40:30Here we go.
00:40:33Oh, yeah.
00:40:34Yes.
00:40:35Good job. We crushed them.
00:40:37Since we lost, we'll get the next round, yep.
00:40:40Hey, you want to play some pool?
00:40:42Sure, that sounds fun.
00:40:44Let's go.
00:40:45I can't remember the last time I played pool.
00:40:47Here, let me show you.
00:40:49You should tell Alex that Maggie owns her own business, is a great boss, and she knows how to yodel.
00:40:55Wow, yodel? That is cool.
00:40:58You know what else is cool? Owning her own business.
00:41:00Yeah, you're right, that is actually pretty cool.
00:41:03How about a little wager? Let's say 20 bucks?
00:41:06I barely remember how to play. Why don't you tell me something about yourself?
00:41:11Shoot first, talk later. I'll even let you pick the game. Eight ball, English billiards, snooker, street pool.
00:41:20I don't know what any of those things are.
00:41:22Do you think she's going to win?
00:41:23Yes, definitely.
00:41:24Yes, definitely.
00:41:25No, she isn't.
00:41:30Here you are.
00:41:32Aw, very good game.
00:41:38I think I could get good at this.
00:41:40Yeah?
00:41:42Isaac and Alex invited us to hit up another bar after this. Are you up for it?
00:41:46I know what that means. Isaac wants to go out with you.
00:41:49I know, he's definitely into me.
00:41:52But Alex seems nice too.
00:41:53He is. He's really good at pool. We just don't have that much in common, and he's a little young for me.
00:41:59Oh, come on. 40 is the new 30.
00:42:01And 10pm is my new midnight.
00:42:04Let's call it a night. We got you out of the house, we had some fun, and I finally got to spend time with you outside of work.
00:42:11Thank you for helping me.
00:42:20Wait.
00:42:24Michael? Hi, is everything okay?
00:42:26Ah, yeah. Sorry, I meant to text you and I accidentally called. I hope I didn't wake you up.
00:42:32No, not at all. What's up?
00:42:34My afternoon is wide open tomorrow, and I was wondering if you wanted to try and slip in that practice session.
00:42:42Sure, I would love to.
00:42:44Good. Okay, we can do it at my office. How's noon?
00:42:47Yeah. Yeah, noon sounds good.
00:42:50Everything alright? You sound a little distracted.
00:42:53It's just been a weird past few hours. I got David's invitation, and I was just knuckered at 8-ball,
00:42:59and now I'm home, and I'm hungry, and suddenly craving those spring rolls from China Dragon.
00:43:04Oh, China Dragon. And they have those cream-filled wontons. Those are so good.
00:43:10Well, I've never tried them. Now I suddenly want to.
00:43:12Well, if you want to forget that you're hungry, maybe I could distract you. Are you able to FaceTime from your laptop?
00:43:20I can.
00:43:21Good. Okay. Well then, get your laptop, get comfy, and call me back.
00:43:26Okay.
00:43:28Hi. Okay, so this is called Camera Roll Scavenger Hunt.
00:43:32We have to run it for a client of mine for his new hire orientation, so this will actually be really helping me out.
00:43:37I am happy to help you in any way I can. So how do we play?
00:43:40Well, I choose a category, like flowers or whatever, and then using only the photos on your phone,
00:43:48we have to find pictures of said category.
00:43:50That sounds really fun. Let's give it a try.
00:43:53All right. We'll start with something easy. Dogs on skateboards.
00:43:57I'm kidding. Let's do meals. Let's start with meals. I'm sure you have a ton of pictures of food.
00:44:02I don't think I do, but I will hunt for one.
00:44:05Oh, okay. I got one. I got one.
00:44:06What? That was so fast. Hold on. Hunting, hunting. Oh, I found one, too. Got it.
00:44:13So this is, I was teaching Will how to grill, and this is a steak dinner that we made.
00:44:18Oh, that looks delicious. This is a chicken pot pie that I am unusually proud of.
00:44:23Oh, that looks really good. Let's do a sunrise or sunset.
00:44:28Oh, that one is easy. I got it.
00:44:31What?
00:44:32What's taking you so long? Do you hate the sun?
00:44:34I'm a sunset guy more than a sunrise guy. Okay, I got it. Look at that.
00:44:39Here's mine.
00:44:40Oh, that's gorgeous. Where is that?
00:44:42It's Turks and Caicos.
00:44:43Where's yours?
00:44:44This was a hike we took a few months ago.
00:44:45Oh, I'm so sorry. It wasn't an island?
00:44:49I'm totally kidding. Can I pick the next one?
00:44:52Fire away.
00:44:53How about favorite family photo?
00:45:04Michael, I'm so sorry. I should not have said favorite family photo.
00:45:08No, Maggie, no. It's okay.
00:45:12It's a good photo, isn't it?
00:45:15It's a great picture. It really captures Nicole's bubbly personality.
00:45:21Yeah, it does.
00:45:26You know, our anniversary was a few weeks ago. It's been 17 years.
00:45:34You think it's weird that I still make her favorite dinner to celebrate?
00:45:38It's not weird at all. It's a great way to keep her memory alive for both you and for Will.
00:45:45Yeah.
00:45:49Who would that be? It's really late.
00:45:51I'm gonna let you go. I'll see you tomorrow. And Maggie, bon appetit.
00:45:58Good night, Michael.
00:46:07Good night.
00:46:16As we wrap it up today, remember, if you're getting married in or around Seattle,
00:46:20Dream Day Cakes is the go-to for your wedding cake.
00:46:25I'm just about finished the press packet for Jacob and Robert.
00:46:28They want to meet here Tuesday at 9. Does that work for you?
00:46:30Perfect. Thanks, Jill.
00:46:31Will do.
00:46:32Thank you. Hi, Michael.
00:46:34Maggie.
00:46:35Hi.
00:46:36I cannot believe you sent me food last night.
00:46:38Oh, well, you were hungry, and I wanted you to try the wontons.
00:46:41They were really good. You were right. This office space is fantastic.
00:46:45How long have you been here?
00:46:46A couple years. I'm still a bit of a work in progress, but we're getting by.
00:46:50Do you always work weekends?
00:46:51It depends. A lot of people here have kids, so we let them make their own schedule.
00:46:55I love that.
00:46:57I have been watching Make It, Bake It, Cake It.
00:47:01You have?
00:47:02I have. I'm going to be helping you out. I should know what I'm helping you with.
00:47:06That is incredibly thoughtful. Thank you.
00:47:09Have you decided what you want to focus on or highlight? Things you want to avoid?
00:47:13Well, they do a lot of wedding cakes and kid cakes, so I think we should stay away from that.
00:47:17I'm thinking you're thinking the right thing to think.
00:47:21We want to make your episode stand out.
00:47:24You know, Sweet Sensations is about so much more.
00:47:28This is why I hired the best PR guy in town.
00:47:30I got the best one.
00:47:32In this part of town.
00:47:33Come with me, I want to show you something.
00:47:37I got a new kid.
00:47:38Why do you guys still call me new kid?
00:47:40I moved here in seventh grade. There's a ton of kids newer than me.
00:47:43Just kind of suits you.
00:47:45Yeah, it does.
00:47:51Everybody's having fun, right? My party is fun, isn't it?
00:47:55Lily, it's great. Except, it starts being weird.
00:48:00He isn't really talking to me.
00:48:03Maybe because you're beating him.
00:48:06I can't help it if I'm a better bowler than he is.
00:48:08I'm not just going to throw gutter balls just so he can win.
00:48:15I'm tired of bowling. Anyone want to hit the arcade?
00:48:22Why do you like him?
00:48:24What?
00:48:25It's just, he isn't really that nice to you.
00:48:27He's the most popular kid in school.
00:48:29So what? He can still be nice to you.
00:48:31None of your business, new kid.
00:48:35I have taken the liberty of setting up a little replica of the bakery.
00:48:42Wow! This looks incredible!
00:48:46Thank you. So we'll use this table as the counter.
00:48:50Obviously, this is a hat that I've had custom made for myself.
00:48:54That's a cake!
00:48:55That's a cake!
00:48:57And then we can figure out where and how you want to stand so you feel most comfortable.
00:49:01Because the more comfortable you feel going in, the more comfortable you will appear on camera.
00:49:12Michael, I cannot believe you did all this. This is amazing.
00:49:19I'm already starting to feel less nervous.
00:49:22That's 50% of the battle right there.
00:49:25Okay, so I think the best place for you to stand is probably here.
00:49:29Where it says Maggie.
00:49:30Where it says Maggie.
00:49:31Now, I have prepared some questions for you that I think are, no peeking, thank you,
00:49:37are the types of questions that I think Priya will ask.
00:49:39She's going to want to know how Sweet Sensations started. Obviously, you already have that answer.
00:49:44Any ideas on how to make it more interesting?
00:49:46No, I like the answer. I think it's interesting enough.
00:49:49I think the thing to remember with all the questions and answers is to find a way to distinguish yourself
00:49:54and the bakery in a way that makes you stand out.
00:49:56Distinguish, stand out.
00:49:59All right. Oh, this is a good one. Okay, do you plan to make any changes to your bakery?
00:50:04Oh, that's a hard one because I'm sure there are lots of things we could change,
00:50:10but what I really would like to focus on is that we are hoping to open a second location.
00:50:14Okay, well, you could just say something like you're really happy with the success of Sweet Sensations
00:50:20and you're excited to replicate it in a second location.
00:50:25I love it. That's hopeful, that's honest, that's positive.
00:50:28Great things. Ooh, okay, I like this one.
00:50:32Is there anything you bake that isn't currently featured at the bakery?
00:50:38I do make an amazing sweet and salty chocolate chip cookie.
00:50:42I want to hear more.
00:50:43So I was fooling around in my kitchen one night and I added this ingredient that, you know what?
00:50:48I'm actually not going to tell you. It's not going to do it justice. I'm just going to make it for you one day.
00:50:52I'm going to hold you to that.
00:50:55You know, you still have a week left until you shoot, and I don't think you realize what a natural you are.
00:51:04All right. Let's go through some camera basics.
00:51:08I will stand on my mark.
00:51:14Hey, Em. About earlier, I'm really sorry.
00:51:20You should hang out with whoever you want, Em.
00:51:22Yo, I got an excellent ping pong table. Need a partner. You in?
00:51:27Yeah, sure.
00:51:28Sorry, Em, I was talking to a new kid. I really want to be Luke and Nico.
00:51:33Actually, Emma's better than me. You'll probably do better playing with her.
00:51:39Emma's better than me.
00:51:40You'll probably do better playing with her.
00:51:42That's okay. You guys play. I'm going to catch up with the birthday girl.
00:51:51How are you feeling? Are you hungry? You want to get something to eat?
00:51:56Oh, I would love to, but we're actually doing a family night tonight. We haven't had that much quality time.
00:52:01Yeah, no, no, you don't have to explain. Kids come first, as they should.
00:52:05Plus, you have to be up super early to take the boys' fish out.
00:52:07Yeah, I don't know how Will got me to agree to that.
00:52:10I'll see you in the morning.
00:52:12See you in the morning.
00:52:13Hey, thank you. Again.
00:52:23Why does fishing have to be so early?
00:52:25Well, I don't know. It's probably because the early fish catches the worm.
00:52:28I don't get it. You were trying to be funny, weren't you?
00:52:33I was, yes.
00:52:34Good morning.
00:52:35Morning, morning. Oh, wow. Not everyone could pull off that look.
00:52:40Oh, is it the baggy robe or the fancy scrunchie?
00:52:43I think it's a toss-up. You ready?
00:52:46All right, you guys catch them. I'll cook them.
00:52:48Deal.
00:52:49Hope you have a real good time.
00:52:51Is it too early for that joke?
00:52:53It's never too early for that joke.
00:52:55Bye, Mom.
00:52:56Bye.
00:52:57Bye-bye. All right, kiddo.
00:53:05So, there's Steve, who hasn't replied to my wink.
00:53:10And besides that, I got nothing.
00:53:12Follow my lead. Be proactive and ask Steve to meet up.
00:53:16Okay.
00:53:19And done.
00:53:21Good. Now, we need to focus.
00:53:23The shoot is in five days, and we have to choose a dessert and theme.
00:53:26Right. So I think we should go with a fall cake.
00:53:30It'll make sweet sensations stand out.
00:53:32It's going to look good on camera, blow Priya away, and make sure everyone remembers us.
00:53:37Okay.
00:53:45Hey, guys. Oh, nice.
00:53:48We caught them. Now you have to cook them.
00:53:50Oh, no, no, no. Not so close.
00:53:52You're not afraid of a few little fishies, are you?
00:53:55How are you going to cook them if you don't want to touch them?
00:53:57You didn't really think this part through.
00:53:59I can help.
00:54:01Are you going to let me off the hook?
00:54:03Oh, come on. No.
00:54:05It's all you. No, you can't. No.
00:54:08What do you call a fish with no legs?
00:54:10A fish.
00:54:15Do you guys know how you get a fish to talk to you?
00:54:17You drop it a line.
00:54:20Why are you laughing? It's not really that funny.
00:54:23Oh, I'm just being polite.
00:54:25Hey, what's the best way to catch a fish?
00:54:27You have somebody throw it at you.
00:54:30Being polite, Mom?
00:54:31No, I thought that was funny.
00:54:33It was funny.
00:54:34Oh, hi. I'm sorry we're late.
00:54:36What did we miss?
00:54:37Mom was telling fish jokes.
00:54:39Oh, I'm really sorry we missed that.
00:54:41Here you go. Are you going to eat the whole fish?
00:54:43Did we give her Sam?
00:54:45Oh, I think we gave her Jimmy.
00:54:46Oh, this was Jimmy. You got Jimmy.
00:54:47You got Jimmy. Yeah, go easy on Jimmy.
00:54:53Dinner was fun. Fish jokes and all.
00:54:55Oh, it really was.
00:54:57Thank you, again, for taking Gary.
00:54:59Oh.
00:55:00Sure he wishes it was his dad taking him fishing or anywhere for that matter.
00:55:05Is David still working and traveling around the Clark?
00:55:08Oh, yes. That's David. There's not a work trip or assignment he can say no to.
00:55:12I think he thinks the kids just want to spend less time with him as they get older, but I'm the opposite.
00:55:18I just want to spend as much time with him as they'll let me.
00:55:20As you should. And the same way.
00:55:23It's like they say, you have kids and suddenly time just disappears.
00:55:26And it turns out they're right. They're growing up.
00:55:30It's true.
00:55:36Steve replied, I have a date.
00:55:45Wow. We're going wine tasting.
00:55:50Okay.
00:55:53Wine at night.
00:55:58Look, I know I've been a little busy and spread thin lately, but I wanted to take some time to talk to both of you.
00:56:05As you know, your father is getting remarried and Lisa will be your new stepmother.
00:56:12Yeah. So?
00:56:14Well, it's kind of a big deal, so I just wanted to make sure you're both okay with it.
00:56:19It's not really going to change anything. We only see dad like once a week and that's only if he has time.
00:56:26And we'll probably see him less after he's married.
00:56:29He's going to have a new wife, maybe a new family. He'll be focused more on that.
00:56:35Hey, you guys don't know that.
00:56:38Gary's right. Dad knows when he's supposed to see us.
00:56:42He just chooses not to.
00:56:50I have to admit, I was a little intimidated by your profile. You being a doctor and all.
00:56:55Oh, I'm not. I'm not actually a doctor. Those are my initials. M.D. Maggie Delaney.
00:57:00I own a bakery down on Front Street.
00:57:03You run your own business.
00:57:05I do.
00:57:06That's a little more intimidating.
00:57:09Still, I suppose when you saw my occupation, software engineer, you must have thought, how incredibly boring.
00:57:14No. No, actually I just thought, dork.
00:57:19Dork.
00:57:29You know, I was kidding, right? My kids would be so embarrassed that I used the word dork.
00:57:34Oh, right. Kids. You are a single mother.
00:57:39Mm-hmm.
00:57:40That must be, um...
00:57:43How many kids do you have, exactly?
00:57:45I have two. I have a daughter who's 16 and a son who's 14.
00:57:49How about you? Any kids?
00:57:51Ha. Maggie, no. But it's okay that you have them.
00:57:55I know that when I date women my own age, they're bound to have children already or want them immediately for some reason.
00:58:02It's been challenging, but it's something I've learned to accept.
00:58:08Now, for the real reason we are here,
00:58:11I was very happy that you took the initiative and called to meet up.
00:58:14I've been wanting to come here with another wine connoisseur for quite some time.
00:58:19Oh, I would not call myself a connoisseur. I'm more of a, I'll have a glass if there's nothing else to drink kind of gal.
00:58:25Let's try this one.
00:58:26Okay.
00:58:27It uses a hand-grafted hybrid grape. Very difficult to grow.
00:58:31And I'm told we can expect notes of pomegranate. Is that correct?
00:58:35Pomegranate? What are you looking for?
00:58:39Clarity. Texture. Glycerin.
00:58:46That's very good.
00:59:01Right at the end there. Very nice.
00:59:03The end was what I felt as well.
00:59:10Are you free Friday night? I have tickets to a private concert.
00:59:14A renowned string quartet is in town for one night only, and I would very much like to take you.
00:59:21Sure. That sounds fun.
00:59:24Moving on.
00:59:28So how was the date?
00:59:29I would rate it as okay. He didn't really ask me any questions about myself or laugh at any of my jokes.
00:59:35It was a first date. He was probably just nervous.
00:59:37Besides, he asked to see you again, so he's at least a little interested.
00:59:40Megs, you're not committed to Steve. Just to a second date.
00:59:43That reminds me. I actually need to call Michael. Schedule some more episode prep.
00:59:47Interesting. I say date, you think of Michael.
00:59:54When you invited me to come, I was expecting more episode prep. I wasn't expecting all of this.
00:59:59What exactly is this?
01:00:01Well, to thank you for helping me, I was going to make you my sweet and salty chocolate chip cookies,
01:00:06and I thought, why make them for him when I can just teach him how to make them?
01:00:12Oh, so this is more of a teach a man to fish than give a man a fish thing.
01:00:16Oh, I see what you're trying to do there, and although you baited me, I'm not going to make any fish jokes.
01:00:22Oh, you're going to make a baking joke.
01:00:23You butter believe I am.
01:00:25All right, so next we add in the chocolate chips.
01:00:27Okay.
01:00:28I'll let you do it since I'm teaching you.
01:00:30All right, now I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing that the chips represent the Swedens.
01:00:35Ding, ding, ding. You are correct.
01:00:37All right, all of them?
01:00:38All of them, yes.
01:00:39Okay.
01:00:41All right, all right, all right.
01:00:42I'll let you do it.
01:00:43I can do it.
01:00:45Now that I have almost successfully folded in the chips, what's next?
01:00:51Next, we add the salty, the secret ingredient that makes these cookies so special.
01:01:01Brain check.
01:01:03While chocolate is the most popular cake in the world, guess what the most popular cake in the United States is?
01:01:10I don't know. Vanilla.
01:01:12Oh, I wish. It's pineapple upside down cake.
01:01:16Oh, what?
01:01:17Yeah, right?
01:01:18No, you're kidding me.
01:01:19I like all cake except for pineapple upside down cake.
01:01:22I can't stand it, and people that put pineapple on their pizza don't even get me started.
01:01:26Oh, no, I'm right here with you.
01:01:31How was your wine tasting date?
01:01:36It was okay. I'm not really that into wine, but since I wrote on my profile that I like to try new things, I figured I should try new things.
01:01:47Try new things.
01:01:49Did you work in any of your corny jokes?
01:01:51Oh, I did. I did.
01:01:53Oh, I did. I did. And you know, while I was there, I just really took the time to stop and smell the rosé.
01:02:03Oh, that's good. That's some good work right there.
01:02:09How about you? Have you been on that app lately? Did you find anyone to wink at?
01:02:14Oh, no. No, I'm not moving too quickly on that.
01:02:22I know that Nicole would want me to be happy, but I'm not ready to take that leap.
01:02:30It's understandable. You need to take your time, go at your own pace, and anyone that you're with needs to understand that.
01:02:40You get me. You really get me.
01:02:44And when I do wink at somebody, I'm going to make sure that it's somebody who really interests me.
01:02:52Well, even though I never actually got to try your top secret sweet and salty cookies, that was fun.
01:03:01It was. You're still coming to the shoot, right?
01:03:04Absolutely. I wouldn't miss it.
01:03:07So, I guess I will see you at the boys' game?
01:03:12Yeah.
01:03:13Well, I guess I should go.
01:03:16So...
01:03:19Goodnight.
01:03:43This was just delivered for you.
01:03:53Oh, I know what this is. These are Maggie's secret recipe sweet and salty chocolate chip cookies.
01:04:04Glad.
01:04:12Mm.
01:04:14Wow.
01:04:16Yeah.
01:04:17This is so good.
01:04:18It's brilliant.
01:04:19Oh.
01:04:20Mm. Here's the market research from Morrisonson.
01:04:25I knew you liked her.
01:04:28I'm, I, I, I'm, I'm...
01:04:30Just do it, Michael. She's obviously interested.
01:04:34Trust me. Women don't share their secret cookie recipe with just anyone.
01:04:39She's interested.
01:05:02Michael just sent me a wink.
01:05:05What do you think that means?
01:05:07It means I'm right and there is no such thing as a pretend date.
01:05:15Go Bulldogs!
01:05:23Oh, wow. I should have found this.
01:05:26Yes.
01:05:32Woo!
01:05:37Yes!
01:05:40Oh, wow.
01:05:42That was amazing.
01:05:43Thank you so much.
01:05:44I got it all on video. Your dad is going to be so proud.
01:05:48Dad isn't here.
01:05:50I know, honey. Something must have come up.
01:05:53Something always comes up. Stop making excuses for him.
01:06:00Maggie, we shoot tomorrow. You have to decide.
01:06:03Well, the pumpkin spice tiramisu is definitely a potential.
01:06:07Nothing screams fall louder than pumpkin spice.
01:06:09And the spiced apple cake is really popular. It looks so pretty with its glaze.
01:06:14It is. And while I love the idea of the pear skillet cake, I don't think it's going to look good on camera.
01:06:19Unless they only photograph it from above.
01:06:21That is a very good point. So my gut says we should go with the pecan pie cake.
01:06:25That's unique. It's very fall. It's going to look great on camera.
01:06:30I got this.
01:06:33David, I am so glad you could stop by.
01:06:36Why so many cakes?
01:06:37I guess the kids didn't tell you we're going to be on Make It, Bake It, Kick It. We film here tomorrow.
01:06:42Wow. Is that why you summoned me? So you can brag about that?
01:06:45No. And I'm not bragging. Also, you are going to have to pay for that.
01:06:50You can't be serious.
01:06:51I am. I'm very serious.
01:06:58It's not enough that I paid for the bakery where it was made.
01:07:01Okay, David, we need to get a few things straight.
01:07:03First of all, you didn't pay for this bakery. You helped me secure a loan, but that is it.
01:07:07I did everything else. When our marriage ended, so did your interest in this bakery.
01:07:11You wanted nothing to do with it. You got your wish. It's mine. It's not yours. It's not ours.
01:07:16Fine. It's your bakery. Finished?
01:07:19No, I'm not. From now on, I'm going to start making decisions that are best for me and for our kids.
01:07:24Not what's best for you. You've let them down for the last time.
01:07:27So this is a schedule for the next month that outlines all of your responsibilities to the kids.
01:07:33I'm not available to change or switch days with you, so don't bother asking me.
01:07:38You need to start making your work schedule around your schedule with Emma and Gary, not the other way around.
01:07:44They love you. They're your kids. They just, they want to spend time with you.
01:07:55You always were the better parent.
01:07:59I'll try and do better. I promise.
01:08:14I am so proud of you.
01:08:17Wow, that gave me a burst of confidence. I'm going to start trusting my gut. We are going with the pecan pie cake.
01:08:24Yes!
01:08:25Oh, that felt really good.
01:08:32Your bakery is perfect. I mean, perfect size, perfect layout.
01:08:37Even the exterior, it really blends with the surrounding environment. I really love it.
01:08:43Thank you so much. I was actually part of the design team. I really wanted our bakery to have a welcoming feel.
01:08:51Good to know. I'll be sure to bring that up in our conversation.
01:08:54Do you mind if I take just one second?
01:08:56Of course, do what you need to do. We'll be ready to roll in a few minutes.
01:09:00Michael, hi! I'm so happy you're here.
01:09:04I didn't miss it for the world, like I did the best basketball game ever. Apparently, three point buzzer beater. Come on!
01:09:10Wait, did Will tell you?
01:09:13Take a look.
01:09:20That's my boy! That's my boy!
01:09:22It is.
01:09:23Maggie, thank you. That's so great. Just send that to me, please.
01:09:26Of course.
01:09:28Oh, this is exciting. How are you? Are you feeling good? Are you ready?
01:09:31I'm good. I'm a little nervous still, but I feel ready.
01:09:33Good. Well, just remember all the things we talked about and be yourself. It'll be great.
01:09:39You got this.
01:09:42I'm Priya Parker. Welcome to another episode of Make It, Bake It, Cake It.
01:09:47I'm standing with Maggie Delaney, owner of Sweet Sensations, and we are coming to you from her beautiful bakery in downtown Franklin.
01:09:58So for the cake, I swap out granulated sugar with brown sugar, and I add a generous amount of creme de cacao.
01:10:07I imagine that complements the pecan pie filling, too.
01:10:10That's the idea.
01:10:11Yes.
01:10:14Oh, that is good.
01:10:15So for the frosting, we also use brown sugar, which gives it a richer flavor.
01:10:20And a nice coloring.
01:10:22I'm excited to see how this all comes together.
01:10:25All right. All that's left is my favorite part, trying the finished cake.
01:10:40Wow. That is amazing.
01:10:45You know, the filling tastes just like pecan pie. It is pure heaven.
01:10:50And the brown sugar cake and the frosting perfectly complement each other.
01:10:54You know, I thought that with the filling and the frosting it was going to be too sweet, but they are actually very, very good together.
01:11:02This pecan pie cake is worth adding to your holiday lineup.
01:11:07Whether it is a fall event, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or anywhere in between, this one's a winner.
01:11:14I'm Priya Parker. Goodbye from Sweet Sensations, and I'll see you next time on Make It, Bake It, Cake It.
01:11:25All right. That's a wrap, guys.
01:11:27Maggie, Devin, seriously, this cake was amazing.
01:11:31And I'm so glad you didn't do another wedding cake or princess cake.
01:11:35I mean, how many more of those episodes do we really need?
01:11:37Right?
01:11:39Really nice meeting you, Maggie. Well done.
01:11:41Oh, it was a pleasure meeting you, and thank you so much for having us on your show.
01:11:44Of course. You know, when you open that second location, let me know.
01:11:47We would love to do another episode with you guys.
01:11:50Our viewers really love follow-up episodes.
01:11:52Absolutely.
01:11:53Absolutely. We would love that.
01:11:54Thank you so much.
01:11:55Great. Okay, bye-bye.
01:11:56Bye.
01:11:59Best day ever.
01:12:01You're shaking.
01:12:02Are you okay?
01:12:03It's over. We did it. We did it.
01:12:12Oh, that was so fun watching. You were perfect.
01:12:15I don't know about perfect, but I do feel good about it. That was really fun.
01:12:19Thank you for your help.
01:12:21I mean, I'd do anything for you.
01:12:24Is that why you winked at me?
01:12:28I was wondering if you were ever going to acknowledge that.
01:12:32I winked at you because I wanted you to know that I was here.
01:12:38In case you wanted to go on another date.
01:12:40Practice.
01:12:42Pretend.
01:12:46Or otherwise.
01:12:52Maybe I won't go. Just homecoming.
01:12:57What? No, you have to go.
01:12:59Zach might not be perfect, but he's a good homecoming date.
01:13:02It's a few weeks away. He hasn't asked anyone.
01:13:04Yes! Of course I'll go!
01:13:08Hey.
01:13:19Hey, Em.
01:13:21How was school?
01:13:23Awful.
01:13:24Zach asked Susie Crawford to homecoming in front of everyone.
01:13:27Oh, honey.
01:13:29I should have just asked him.
01:13:31Like, maybe if I didn't wait, we'd be going together.
01:13:34I'm so sorry.
01:13:37It's pretty much fine.
01:13:40Zach asked Susie, I'm not going. The end.
01:13:43You want me to cancel my plans?
01:13:45We could have a mother-daughter night, order pizza, eat ice cream, watch some cheesy reality TV.
01:13:51No, it's fine. You should go.
01:13:53Plus, Shock, Dad texted.
01:13:55Then Double Shock wants to meet for dinner.
01:13:58He even suggested China Dragon, Gary's favorite spot.
01:14:01That's great!
01:14:02Maybe some of their famous wontons will just help you forget about Zach.
01:14:07Who?
01:14:08That's the spirit.
01:14:10There you go.
01:14:33Wow, they are very good.
01:14:36Reviewed as one of the best quartets in the country, you know.
01:14:39You know, I have heard that a string player's motto is it's better to be sharp than out of time.
01:14:47What? Did I tell it wrong?
01:14:49Oh, I have no idea. I just don't think this is the proper setting for jokes.
01:14:56Oh.
01:14:57And as I'm sure you already know, puns are the lowest form of humor.
01:15:03Um, I should probably check this. It could be one of my kids.
01:15:08Right. Kids.
01:15:11I'll meet you back at our seats.
01:15:18Hey, I'm sorry.
01:15:24Is everything alright? Your kids seem to be distracting you quite a bit.
01:15:28My daughter thought this boy was going to ask her to homecoming, but then he ended up asking someone. So...
01:15:33Sounds unimportant.
01:15:35Just another teenage girl with a broken heart. I'm sure there's nothing you or anyone could possibly do about it.
01:15:43I'm really looking forward to the second half. I hear it's even longer.
01:15:51It was a little uncomfortable. I've never broken up with someone.
01:15:55Really? You do it once a month.
01:15:57Don't tell Isaac I said that. I think I might actually like him.
01:15:59See, when you say things like that, it makes me think I'm never going to understand dating.
01:16:03And truthfully, this experiment has just made me feel like I'm really happy where I am. I love my life.
01:16:10There's nothing wrong with wanting a relationship, but it's amazing when you realize you don't need one.
01:16:14Exactly. And if somebody finds me and it's meant to be, then it's meant to be.
01:16:19And if it's meant to be with Michael, don't wait two years.
01:16:22See? And if it's meant to be with Michael, don't wait too long to wink back at him.
01:16:37I waited too long.
01:16:43He's no longer available.
01:16:53Okay, boys. Extra cupcakes for you.
01:17:01Hi. I'm so excited for you.
01:17:06Congratulations. Your mother is so proud. And thank you for including me.
01:17:10Of course. I'm so glad you could make it. Enjoy.
01:17:16Devin! Isaac!
01:17:17We're here. You can start the party.
01:17:18Come on in.
01:17:19We brought champagne.
01:17:20So when the episode is a success, we can celebrate.
01:17:22And we brought sunflowers, so in the unlikely event the episode is a flop, they'll cheer you up.
01:17:27I did research. Sunflowers are the happiest flower.
01:17:30Thank you. That's very thoughtful.
01:17:33All kidding aside, are you okay?
01:17:35I think so. I'm a little nervous about watching the show and also seeing Michael.
01:17:39He said he was coming today, but I haven't heard from him since the rejected wink.
01:17:43Oh, thank you for so succinctly verbalizing that.
01:17:45He'll show up. He's a good guy. Wink or not, he's not going to stop supporting you.
01:17:51Told you.
01:17:52I'll get it.
01:17:53She's probably my dad.
01:17:56Okay, do you guys need anything?
01:17:59Emma! The new kid's here to see you.
01:18:06I'm so sorry. I should have texted Emma to see if it was okay to stop by.
01:18:11No, it's okay. We can talk in here.
01:18:15He's cute.
01:18:16I'm sorry I interrupted the party, but Emma wanted to talk to you.
01:18:20About chemistry? Do you want to change lab partners?
01:18:23No. I love being your lab partner.
01:18:28Em?
01:18:32I know you wanted to go to Homecoming with Zach, and I know I'm not as popular as he is, but I was hoping you would go with me.
01:18:41I can make a sign and come back, or get flowers, or get down on one knee, whatever you want. I just, I really like you and want to take you and talk.
01:18:50Yes.
01:18:53Really?
01:18:54Yes, I'll go with you.
01:19:01So, I just started reading a book on helium. I mean, you can't put it down.
01:19:11I'm turning into my mother.
01:19:13Oh, here you go, you two. Sit here.
01:19:16Oh, uh, thanks, but I really should get going.
01:19:18Oh, no, no. This is the premiere of Maggie's episode. No, no, you have to sit right here.
01:19:22Besides, if you're taking my granddaughter to Homecoming, I'm going to need to get to know you.
01:19:26Grandma.
01:19:28Uh, okay. I guess I could stay?
01:19:30Okay, welcome. Welcome, welcome.
01:19:33Come on, sit down.
01:19:34Oh, gosh, I'm a little too nervous to sit down, so I'm just going to walk back and forth right around here.
01:19:39Hi, guys.
01:19:44Quiet, it's starting.
01:19:45I'm Priya Parker. Welcome to another episode of Make It, Bake It, Cake It.
01:19:50I'm standing with Maggie Delaney, owner of Sweet Sensations, and we're coming to you from her beautiful bakery in downtown Franklin.
01:19:59This pecan pie cake is worth adding to your holiday plans.
01:20:03Whether a fall event, Thanksgiving, Christmas, or anywhere in between, this one's a winner.
01:20:10I'm Priya Parker. Goodbye from Sweet Sensations, and I'll see you next time on Make It, Bake It, Cake It.
01:20:21That was okay, right?
01:20:22It was great.
01:20:23It was the best episode I've ever seen.
01:20:25Let's watch it again.
01:20:26It really, really was.
01:20:27I'll get some champagne.
01:20:28It really was good.
01:20:35Hey.
01:20:37Well done.
01:20:40Hey, can I steal you for a sec?
01:20:43Of course. You want to talk about it?
01:20:45Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:20:51I got you something.
01:20:52Is that a gift?
01:20:54Yeah.
01:20:55It's for me?
01:20:56I saw it, and I thought of you.
01:21:02What is it?
01:21:04Open it up.
01:21:05Oh, look.
01:21:06It's a barometer.
01:21:09I'm giving it to you because I don't want to be your barometer anymore.
01:21:16I don't want to be the guy that indicates that there are good guys.
01:21:22Michael, I meant that as a compliment.
01:21:25I know, I know.
01:21:26I don't want to be your barometer because I want to be the guy that you date.
01:21:34I want to be the guy that laughs at your corny jokes and insists that you laugh at my even worse jokes.
01:21:45And the guy that helps you prep for baking shows and, you know, the guy who, believe it or not, wants to accompany you to your ex-husband's wedding.
01:21:58That's the guy that I want to be.
01:22:06You know, you'd really be helping me out of a potentially very humiliating situation if you'd say something.
01:22:12Anything, anything at all. Just say just anything at all.
01:22:16Hey, look.
01:22:18It's pointing at you.
01:22:20This thing works.
01:22:24Oh, that's so corny.
01:22:37You're really going to David's wedding with me?
01:22:41I wouldn't miss it for the world.
01:22:43Wait till you see me dance.
01:22:54I'm so glad you're here with me.
01:22:56Yeah, me too.
01:22:58Now that we're dating, I'm a little nervous that you might desert me.
01:23:05Oh, don't you worry. I will not go back in your heart.
01:23:07Well, that's good because I think you're flantastic.
01:23:37I love you.
