00:14If you follow TechNews, you'd know why I'm super excited about this package from Google.
00:18Team Pixel just sent this in and I'm expecting this to have the Google Pixel 6 Pro.
00:23Let's open this up.
00:24So we have the Google logo up front. I'm excited.
00:28Ooh, you see that? Fancy.
00:33That's cool for all you are.
00:38Yes!
00:39Quick note from Google here, introducing the Pixel 6 Pro.
00:42We have a couple of things in here and not just the phone, a sealed unit of the Google Pixel 6 Pro.
00:48We also have that cute little case.
00:51Now, I've seen these from the launch and they look pretty amazing.
00:55I'm so happy they sent me one as well.
00:59Let's open this phone up.
01:00And I am happy because I got this color.
01:03This is sort of sunny.
01:05Specifically the color I wanted.
01:07Google branding on the sides.
01:09On the back, it says Team Pixel.
01:11And again, shouts out to Team Pixel for sending over this phone.
01:14I'm so excited to test it out.
01:19Ooh, nice.
01:20Let's see what else is in the box first.
01:23We have, of course, some paperwork from Google.
01:27A really, really cute SIM tool.
01:29Google has these cute differently shaped tools.
01:32I feel like these should turn into my next earrings.
01:36We have the charging cord that's USB-C to C.
01:41There's also a USB-A to C adapter.
01:45Is there anything else? No, nothing else.
01:47So that's it.
01:48On to the phone.
01:49Now, obviously, I am a fan of the color of this 6 Pro.
01:54I like how it's bright and cheery.
01:56But at the same time, very subtle and still very classy and serious looking.
02:01That's the thing I've noticed with a lot of Pro phones.
02:04They tend to not have the cute little colors.
02:07Which is why I like that Google still gave us this sort of sunny colorway for their Pro phones.
02:13It's not as bright and out there as the pink and orange Google Pixel 6.
02:18But it still has a splash of color.
02:20And color that honestly matches my nails so well.
02:27This is one solid feeling phone.
02:29Definitely premium.
02:31You have, of course, that very distinct camera module on the back there.
02:36Which, a little trivia, was inspired by the Google search bar.
02:40It's funny how I look at this phone and think it's one unique, nice, and classy looking device.
02:46But simultaneously, this bar sort of reminds me of Cyclops or something.
02:51It just feels super solid.
02:53And you'll see later on that this is a curved screen.
02:56And that's versus the Pixel 6 which has a flat screen.
02:59On the right side, you have an unlock button.
03:01You have the volume rocker.
03:03Bottom gives you speakers, USB-C charging port.
03:06Left side gives you the SIM tray.
03:08And up top, you have this sort of like matching bar situation right here.
03:14I gotta admit, I feel like Google really stepped up their design game this year.
03:19After years and years of having not the most exciting looks, Google does it this year.
03:26Now you guys know what's coming next.

04:01Throughout the months, we've heard so many things about this phone.
04:03So I just can't believe that it's finally in my hands.
04:05Definitely stoked for this redesign.
04:07I love the colors on this Pixel line.
04:11And I know, I know.
04:12I've given Google some grief over how they picked some certain color shades.
04:18But for the Pixel 6 line, even if the Pixel 6 Pro does have more muted tones,
04:23I'm definitely in love with this shade.
04:25Real talk, these are colors that I'd actually pick for my nails.
04:28And now you guys know why I like it so much.
04:31To me, this phone just really looks unique.
04:33It's definitely something that other people will notice.
04:35If they see you in the wild with this in your hands, they'd know it's a Pixel.
04:39I will say, just because these are things that don't necessarily translate in video a lot,
04:44this phone does feel premium.
04:46It feels good in hand.
04:48And it's just, I feel like in general, very well built.
04:51Despite it being a big phone, it's pretty sleek.
04:55And the rounded edges help make me, a tiny-handed person, holding it feel more comfortable.
05:02Right, but we still have the case.
05:05Let's not forget, we also have a case that came with the phone.
05:09Now, as the box shows you, I think this is a white transparent case.
05:14Now, there are different colors.
05:16We have an orange and a green here.
05:18But these are not my cases.
05:19These are Joshua's cases.

05:28Meantime, let's open up mine.
05:30And what's so cool about this is that the case is made from over 30% recycled plastic.
05:36Based on the other cases that I've seen, I definitely like the look of these cases.
05:40Sort of reminds me of the 90s.
05:42There we go.
05:43I like that little G detail over there.
05:46And I like that they sort of match it to the color of the case.
05:49Joshua's cases have a different color on them.
05:52Let's put this on.
05:56Oh my gosh, I love.
05:58Because it's white, it sort of still lets you see a hint of color.
06:02But it's also pretty protected.
06:05I like that this case sort of protects the protruding camera module.
06:09Still sticks out a little, but that feels like it's better protection for it.
06:14I would have loved an orange version for my orange phone, but this is the second best thing.
06:21And like I said, this just came this morning and I just unboxed this like a few minutes ago.
06:25So definitely I will need more time with this phone to tell you just how it performs.
06:30But since we're already here and I'm already showing you the phone itself,
06:33I just wanted to talk quickly about the things that are exciting to me.
06:37The things that I'm looking forward to testing.
06:39Things that when I was watching the Pixel event, I went like, ooh.
06:42So first off, after like, what?
06:44Four years of having the same camera hardware on their Pixel devices,
06:48Google finally upgrades the sensor on their main camera.
06:52This Pixel 6 Pro also has a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera.
06:55And specifically on the Pixel 6 Pro, but not on the Pixel 6,
06:59this has a telephoto camera with 4x optical zoom.
07:03Now, quick story time.
07:04And I promise you, this ties into why I'm really excited over Pixel cameras.
07:08Once upon a time, I was a hardcore iPhone user.
07:10That was way before I was reviewing tech for a living.
07:13It was actually a Pixel that completely switched me over to Android.
07:17It was a Pixel 2 and my main reason?
07:19Well, one, I felt like the Pixel 2 had like a way better feel than the Pixel 1,
07:24which to me felt a little bit too plasticky.
07:26Again, this feels really nice in hand, so we're going towards that direction.
07:30And number two, the cameras were just too good to ignore.
07:34Historically, Pixels gave me images that just look so good.
07:40And all of that with just software.
07:42See, Google phones historically did not have the best camera hardware.
07:47But now, things have changed.
07:49And that's why I'm super stoked to be trying out these cameras.
07:52Honestly, I cannot wait to see just what type of images we capture with these things.
07:58And aside from that, I'm really curious to see how video performs with this phone.
08:02But it doesn't even stop there because Google talks about other cool things
08:06in terms of camera features at their launch.
08:08There's Magic Eraser, which allows you to take photos in busy places
08:13and then magically erase all the stuff you don't want in your photo.
08:17Now let me tell you, I struggle with this a lot,
08:19so I'm so excited to see just how well this works.
08:22And then there's Face Unblur, which allows you to take action shots,
08:26moving photos, and then not have your face blurred
08:29because that is the most important part of a photo.
08:32And finally, at the Google announcement, Pixel talked about Real Tone,
08:35which means that their algorithm is now tuned to all the different skin types and skin tones.
08:41Second big thing about the Google Pixel 6 line,
08:43these are the very first Google phones with Google chips in them.
08:47Google's Tensor powers these devices,
08:50and so I'm curious to see just how that performs
08:53in terms of everyday multitasking, gaming, and of course, camera processing.
08:59Finally, the Google 6 Pro has this really nice, large,
09:03because it is a large phone, curved screen.
09:05Supposedly a better screen with 120Hz refresh rate.
09:09That's versus the 90Hz on the Pixel 6 and the 60Hz on previous Pixels.
09:14Other random things from the launch that have excited me so much,
09:18there's Live Speech Translation, and if you didn't see the launch,
09:21it basically had Marie Kondo speaking with Live Translate the whole time via these phones.
09:27And finally, at the Pixel launch, there was even a demo with Material You
09:31where they were matching wallpapers and dynamic buttons to outfits.
09:36Some cool personalization on a different level.
09:40And as someone who tries to match her nails with her phone, phone cases, and jewelry,
09:46I'm pretty excited for the outfit matching.
