00:06his particular way of fashion it's no surprise at all. He continues to you know
00:14dig himself a bigger hole I guess but at the same time I'm very grateful because
00:21I think it will bring further awareness to our film. It's you know it's pretty
00:26rare that there's this kind of intersectionality between film and
00:31culture and like such real-world stakes and history and you know this election I
00:38think is pretty unprecedented in in America and the stakes are so high so
00:43it's it's quite frankly scary to be in the crosshairs of of that and but also
00:52very powerful that this film is able to dialogue with it and get people
00:57thinking about things and talking about things. Well it's hard not to look at it
01:00like as if it's meant to be only because the movie had so many starts and stops
01:06it could have come out in 2020 and it didn't and it probably because of the
01:10pandemic would have had a different life could have come out in last year but it
01:15didn't and somehow everything lined up for in this way so so I think you know
01:22maybe it's for a reason. Yeah I mean it's very fortuitous that it's coming
01:26out right now and I'm I'm glad of it you know it was almost banned in America
01:33very nearly and so it's kind of slightly miraculous that it was released there at
01:40all and I just think it's really important I think it's essential for
01:46people to see it because it's really about how Donald Trump became who he is
01:54now and how we got to where we got to today and and a kind of very nihilistic
02:01poisonous ideology that was taught him by this guy Roy Cohn who a lot of people
02:06don't know much about but whose influence is really enormous on our
02:12world today and I also think you know the fact that Trump felt compelled to
02:17lash out against this film and denounce us and it and call us human scum if I
02:24was a person not involved with the film I think that would make me need to see
02:31it to understand just what is so threatening about this film.
