The Prop King shares the eight prop bets ahead of NFL SUnday Week 7!
Transcript
00:00Uh, trying to get ahead of the props in the National Football League.
00:04I've been doing this segment the last couple Fridays, and like, I really like it.
00:07And I've gotten some notes from people that they like it also.
00:09It, uh, forces me to kind of take a stand on stuff a little earlier than I,
00:13because I normally do all my work on Saturday night and Sunday morning to finalize the prop stuff.
00:17Um, I've got a lot of my stuff already done right now.
00:20Now, in lieu of going through every single game,
00:23I have chosen, and I don't know if all eight of these will make hashtag the card,
00:30I know everyone loves that as a sports betting term, the card.
00:33It will be in my portfolio.
00:35Uh, I don't know if all eight of these props will make the card, will be in the portfolio,
00:39but definitely some of them, definitely some of them,
00:42and I will indicate the ones that will 100% be a part of the card.
00:47Uh, so let's start with the Falcon Seahawks game on Sunday in Atlanta.
00:53Uh, Sam Paniatovic on with us last hour talked about Jackson, Smith, and Jigba,
00:56maybe liking JSN over receiving yards.
00:59I can't get there on JSN.
01:00I do like DK Metcalf a little bit over receiving yards,
01:03because AJ Terrell, they're getting burned all season.
01:06DK Metcalf potentially over the top.
01:08I think the Seahawks are gonna throw the ball a lot in this game,
01:10so I'm gonna look at DK Metcalf.
01:12I know Femi likes DK Metcalf.
01:1366 and a half receiving yards is DK's number,
01:16but the guy that I like, probably against my better judgment, is Kyle Pitts.
01:20Uh, Kyle Pitts is actually starting to put together, like, a decent season,
01:23even though his career has stunk.
01:26And, like, you know, I'm doing the media tour today,
01:29as I do each and every Phenomenal Football Friday at all these Odyssey stations,
01:32and I get asked on a lot of them about, you know, Saquon Barkley
01:35coming back to New York for the Philadelphia Eagles.
01:38And, like, yeah, do you think Giants fans will boo him?
01:40And I have to say, and I mean this,
01:42it's not Saquon's fault that the Giants took him second overall.
01:46One of the worst draft picks ever.
01:48Saquon Barkley could be Barry Sanders,
01:50and it's still a terrible pick to take a running back second overall.
01:53By the way, he's not Barry Sanders.
01:56At what point do we have to start saying that, uh,
01:58the Falcons taking a tight end fourth overall in Kyle Pitts
02:01might actually be worse than taking a running back second overall?
02:05But Pitts, starting to string some good performances together.
02:08Think about what George Kittle did a couple Thursdays ago, Niners and Seahawks.
02:12I think this is setting up for a nice Kyle Pitts game.
02:14Kyle Pitts over 39 and a half receiving yards.
02:19How about the Bills and the Tennessee Titans?
02:21Now, I was talking to someone, hashtag in the league today,
02:25who is telling me, in no uncertain terms,
02:28in no uncertain terms, that Dalton Kincaid
02:31is set to start playing a lot better
02:34because Amari Cooper will draw the doubles away from Dalton Kincaid.
02:38Just wanted to throw that out there.
02:40And, uh, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports
02:42reporting earlier today that Amari is going to play this weekend
02:46for the Buffalo Bills. Remember, that had been uncertain earlier in the week.
02:49So, maybe I'll pivot to Kincaid come Sunday with that information in tow.
02:54I just think, like, if Amari Cooper is going to be taking up space on the outside
02:58and, like, drawing attention on the outside,
03:00how is this not going to be Khalil Shakir over the middle of the field absolutely crushing?
03:04So, I would say this is not one of my favorite of the eight I'm giving out here,
03:08but Shakir, over 28 and a half receiving yards, looks pretty juicy.
03:12I think both of these are absolute bangers.
03:16Uh, and they reside in the same game.
03:18This is Lions-Vikings on Sunday.
03:21Uh, one I like a little more than the other.
03:24This is actually, because I got asked again on my Friday media tour about a bunch of these,
03:27what's your favorite prop this weekend?
03:28They gave the same answer in all the interviews.
03:30The answer, uh, pour yourself a shot at Jamison
03:33for the Lions-Vikings game on Sunday.
03:35Waymo, Jamo.
03:38Ryan Flores, gonna blitz that ass.
03:41And Jared Goff and Ben Johnson, they know what's coming.
03:44You know who's the blitz beater for the Detroit Lions?
03:47Jamo.
03:48Now, when I used to take shots of Jamo in my 20s,
03:52it turned me into Satan.
03:55I became the devil.
03:56I was Beelzebub.
03:57I was Mephisto.
03:58Maybe our executive producer Bill Zimmerman saw me a couple times when that had happened.
04:01I hope not.
04:02For his sake.
04:03But Jamo would turn me into Satan.
04:05This week, Jamo turns us into angels.
04:08Because he puts money in our wallets.
04:11Jamo, over 46 and a half receiving yards, beating the blitz
04:15for the Lions against the Minnesota Vikings.
04:17And then, my second favorite prop in this game,
04:19and one of my favorite eight in the excellent eight right now,
04:21right now,
04:23Justin Jefferson absolutely annihilates the Aaron Glenn Detroit Lions defense.
04:30Jefferson's receiving yards prop begins with a nine.
04:34Is that right?
04:36Should it begin with a one?
04:39I think the answer might be yes.
04:40So, make me pick one in this game.
04:42I'll take Jamo over 46 and a half.
04:44I think Jamo hits 100 yards in this game.
04:46I'm gonna have ladders on Jameson.
04:49I would be shocked if Justin Jefferson didn't have 100 receiving yards
04:51if he finishes the game as well.
04:53We'll go two.
04:55This is not just two now from the same game.
04:58This is two from the same team.
05:00The Green Bay Packers have gotten pounded on the ground for most of the season.
05:04And we have seen the Texans offense look like a different unit
05:08when Joe Mixon is the starting running back.
05:11We saw it in week one against the Indianapolis Colts.
05:13We saw it last week against the New England Patriots.
05:15Joe Mixon really makes a difference for this Houston Texans ground attack.
05:19Joe Mixon's rushing yards prop is 61 and a half.
05:22Feels low against the Green Bay Packers.
05:24And Tank Dell?
05:26Dude, we're betting on Dell. Maybe.
05:28Dell finally broke out last week a little bit.
05:31All it took was Nico Collins going on IR for Tank Dell to start playing better.
05:34Tank Dell 59 and a half receiving yards.
05:37Honestly, I think he hit 70.
05:39So, I like Dell over receiving yards.
05:41And I'm contemplating playing the Mixon over rushing yards.
05:45Two more.
05:47Right now we're at the sinister six.
05:49We need to make it an excellent eight.
05:51Malik Nabors receiving yards prop 71 and a half.
05:53Does anyone think that's right?
05:55Like, are we just going to do this with Malik Nabors again?
05:59Because he had a concussion for two weeks.
06:01He gets targeted like 20 times a game.
06:03The Eagles secondary stinks.
06:05Like, how is he not going over 100 receiving yards if he finishes the game?
06:09Like, this is easy.
06:11Nabors over 71 and a half receiving yards.
06:13And then, you know, I mentioned this on Tuesday.
06:16We had all the breaking news on Tuesday, right?
06:18Jets trade for Devontae Adams.
06:20Bills trade for Amari Cooper.
06:22And on Tuesday we talked about the Jets and we talked about the Bills.
06:25And I mentioned the other interesting team as a result of these moves.
06:29Interesting by their lack of action was the Kansas City Chiefs.
06:32Who didn't trade for Amari Cooper and did not trade for Devontae Adams.
06:36And didn't trade for any wide receiver over the bye week.
06:38Where you would have time to work that receiver into the game plan, playbook, etc.
06:43Which, to me, means it's a vote of confidence for the current pass catchers on the Kansas City Chiefs.
06:48And that could mean a good game for Juju Schuster.
06:51It could mean a good game for Travis Kelsey.
06:53What I think is really likely is that the Chiefs, who spent the first round pick on Xavier Worthy.
06:59First round pick on Xavier Worthy.
07:01Rookie, now with an extra week to get him further ingratiated into this offense for a bigger role.
07:07I think Xavier Worthy's role expands and expands in a big way starting this Sunday.
07:12Xavier Worthy over 39.5 receiving yards.
07:16And we're going to be like Shawn Michaels.
07:18Like Reza Ramon.
07:19Like the Hardys.
07:20Like Edge and Christian.
07:21Like Bubba Ray and Devon Dudley.
07:23Devon, get the ladders.
07:25I know that's not the line.
07:26I'm a huge wrestling fan.
07:28But we will get the ladders out for Xavier Worthy.
07:30So those are the excellent eight props.
07:32All overs.
07:33It's receiving.
07:34Shakir receiving.
07:35Jefferson and Jamo receiving.
07:37Dell receiving.
07:38Mixon rushing.
07:39Neighbors and Worthy receiving.
07:41You'll find out on Sunday which ones make hashtag the card.
07:46Like at least six of them.
07:48Like at least six.
07:49Those are the excellent eight prop bets ahead of week seven.
07:52NFL Sunday.
