00:00Opened in Rome, inside the Fondazione Piccolomini, on the first day of the Cargiver of Social Inclusion,
00:05a two-day conference between institutions, associations of families, third sector, associations of social cooperation and union organizations.
00:13The Lazio region is doing a lot in this sector, a sector that you know is particularly close to my heart.
00:18We have put on the agenda 15 million euros to give an answer, there are more than 25,000 people who today dedicate themselves to their own car
00:28and they must have the opportunity to be supported, to feel supported by the region, which is what we want.
00:3660% of these people are women, it is important to give this signal of attention also to allow not only to dedicate oneself to those who perhaps in the family have a particular need,
00:48but also not to lose opportunities with study, with work, and therefore this law is a step forward,
00:55among the many that we are carrying out, which goes in the direction of greater inclusion to repair important social fractures.
01:03This is the goal that we will have for the entire legislature, we will continue to carry it with the same determination
01:09and I am sure that we will succeed with other beautiful initiatives that are on the construction site, on the family, on poverty.
01:16In short, it is a lot of material that we are putting into operation to give answers to all those who find themselves in a condition of fragility.
01:25The Lazio region has implemented a whole series of actions and interventions that I want to remember in these two days,
01:33because when you govern you have to do things, but you also have to tell stories.
01:38I believe that it is essential to accompany interventions, actions, administrative acts, regulatory acts with a vision,
01:47with a completely different cultural approach from that of the past, that is, to work together,
01:54therefore the State, all institutions, in this case the region, together with the world of third sector associationism,
02:01of cooperation, unions, must work together precisely to be able to co-program and co-design to achieve important goals.
02:12The most important priority goal, which is what we have given ourselves,
02:16is to make this region fully welcoming, fully inclusive by 2035, therefore within the next ten years.
02:25I am here on behalf of the Instituto Superiore di Sanità, but above all of the initiatives that we are carrying out on behalf of the Ministry of Health
02:34on the matter of socio-sanitary integration.
02:37As Assessor Maselli has just said, socio-sanitary integration is the most accurate answer for all the issues and all the complex socio-sanitary needs,
02:47starting from people with disabilities, and then also following non-self-sufficient elderly people and also mental health problems.
02:56A problem that sees the important issue of the life project as crucial for the integrated commissioning of which the person must necessarily be part,
03:09therefore the interested user and their relatives.
03:12I am here precisely to represent the importance of the caregivers or of the people who are part of the circle of people with complex socio-sanitary needs,
03:22because they must be listened to, since they are the depositors of the needs of the person.
03:28The importance of this day is because through these commitments, these days of debates,
03:39we can give concrete answers to the needs of our citizens.
03:46The caregiver is really a burden for many families, they do not know where to ask for help,
03:56and therefore this law that Massimiliano Maselli, Assessor Maselli, has made is of fundamental importance.
04:02Clearly today we are here, we are united, and then I like to think that in a world where everything is going backwards today,
04:09people can find a strong point of reference of the Lazio region through these days.
