The Education Ministry once again gets the largest allocation in Budget 2025 with a total allocation of RM64.1bil.

The Prime Minister said this is the largest amount in the country's history.

00:00The Ministry of Education has allocated RM64.1 billion, the highest in history.
00:10So, a comfortable learning space, safe for children to acquire knowledge.
00:17RM2 billion to raise the standard of education in the whole country.
00:21RM1 billion to support all types of schools,
00:24especially those with high standards.
00:28This includes national schools, Chinese schools, Tamil schools, religious schools,
00:32military camp schools, and special education schools.
00:36RM1 billion to support 43 schools, especially in Sabah and Sarawak.
00:4344 new schools will be built next year.
00:47The Ministry of Education has allocated RM1 billion to support all types of schools,
00:54especially those with high standards.
01:00To ensure internet access in villages and rural areas,
01:04the Government has agreed to implement the Broadband Infrastructure Connection Program
01:10to schools outside the city by allocating RM100 million.
01:15The Point of Presence project has also been continued by allocating RM800 million.
01:22Alhamdulillah, thanks to everyone's efforts,
01:24we have successfully repaired more than 8,300 schools in a short period of time.
01:30The Government is now repairing other facilities,
01:33such as canteens, prayer rooms, and basic facilities, with RM100 million.
01:41The Government has allocated RM53 billion to support 17 types of education.
01:54RM2 billion to support orphanages.
01:58RM870 billion to support additional food.
02:02And RM800 million for early education assistance to 5.2 million first-year students
02:10up to level 5 without counting their parents' income.
02:16The group of student loans has been increased to RM180 million.
