00:00Very unique one, I think that's what even when the story was narrated to Neena ji, what
00:10she said was something very unique.
00:13And the storyline itself is very unique and you know in trailer you will get bits and
00:19pieces of whatever because we have to communicate little in a way that you don't understand.
00:25So trailer is not meant to be understood I guess.
00:28So there are lot of mysterious things and we don't want to discuss much about it only
00:33because this will be spoilers.
00:36So we want you to enjoy it and if you ask me, if I weren't a part of it, I would have
00:42been more excited being the audience.
00:45You know as an audience I would have been more happy not knowing the things about in
00:50this series.
00:52So that element is there, I want everyone to watch it fresh without any inhibitions
00:58or pre-meditator ideas, nothing should be there.
01:01Watch it with ease, you will get a good shock and start thinking from there.
01:13I think this is the character that, the toughest character that I have done, the most difficult
01:21one and very complex one.
01:23It has a lot of shades, a lot of variations and the script very much demands it and so
01:29and what helped me prepare was my director and he says very clearly what he wants.
01:36So we approached you know, we have, I can divide the series into different parts maybe,
01:42you know different segments, different time periods.
01:45So I was instructed not to read the script, the time we go for shoot, I read the script
01:56pertaining to that particular part, only that particular part and the rest I don't know.
02:01I knew the story but I didn't work on it because that's something totally different.
02:06We have to do it in a different way, so his idea shouldn't be there in my mind.
02:11Initially, the first thing, this guy is a very innocent guy, you know, he has only one
02:19person in his life and that's his mother.
02:22So he is a very introvert guy and he doesn't have any love interest, he gets attracted
02:28to someone and that's very new for him because he doesn't have any life experience, he doesn't
02:36interact with anyone else, a bird that flies in his house, that's it, like a nest, nest
02:45made by Sarama, Neeraj's character.
02:49So that was a very difficult one but I enjoyed working on it and I thank my director for
02:55guiding me through this because you know, I wanted to do this.
02:59I feel like I have done 4-5 movies in a single series.
03:05So it was that kind of an experience.
03:12Yeah, this is a long journey for all of us and for me, like my friend here Mr. Sanju,
03:20he is also a very renowned actor in the South, Malayalam movies, has taken a lot of pain
03:26doing this because there were a lot of moments where he had to sit idle because he has a
03:31beautiful arc in this movie with different looks and body, you know, reducing and increasing,
03:38things like that and he had to let go a lot of commercial movies that came his way.
03:43The sacrifice that he took should be much appreciated.
03:46Coming to my character, what I have done is, I am doing the police investigating officer
03:53in this, as usual, when I do a lot of movies like that.
03:58My name is Ajay Kuriyan in this movie and I love the investigating part of it, how I
04:06go and open a mystery box.
04:09So if you ask me for the public to know what does it look like something or where, how
04:15not, it will be something more related like X-Files, if most of you have seen or not.
04:20That's what it takes, you know, it goes to the world of unknown and once that unknown
04:25becomes known, what is next is my question in the movie, what will happen?
04:31Because it's a subject where, like I said before, everybody will start doubting themselves
04:38in life, in reality, I'm sure, because not only here, around the globe, people will start
04:44doubting it, many things that comes in their way and once we know the truth, what can be
04:53done about it is the thousand babies.
05:02If you ask me, Neenaji coming into this movie, a director, he wanted a national icon to be
05:10there in the movie to do this particular role, because we have talented, I mean, that's
05:16what the explanation that he gave, we have many talented actors from south in Kerala
05:21and we have many, many, we have many talents, but we wanted a national icon to do this and
05:26it should look different, it should look, you know, out of the park and I'm hundred
05:32percent sure nobody have seen this Neena Gupta ever in her film career.
05:39Nobody has seen, because she was all here and she did all Hindi movies, many Hindi movies
05:44and many series here, serials here, sab kuch kya hai, lekin this Neena Gupta, I mean, koi
05:50nahi dekha hoga, and even she was very hesitant to take up this role initially, I guess, she
05:56had this double mind, should I be doing this, should I be, you know, is this going to be
05:59a, you know, an image breaking thing and yeah, this will change the perspective about, you
06:04know, yeah, Neena ji and what I should say is, you know, she's such a wonderful actor,
06:11hum bolte hain ki, matlab, koi, matlab, actors ke baarein bolte hain ki, yeh us samanay ka
06:15badiya actor tha, you know, she was a star then, he was a star then, jab, when we talk
06:22about her, aisa nahi hai, she's a star, abhi ban gaya, star, so, kuch log bolte hain ki
06:27initial success, she keeps telling that, initially, good roles didn't come to her, lekin jab
06:32wo aaya, dehr se aaya, lekin, bahut relevant, you know, nahi toh we'll be of guilt, abhi
06:40toh, pehle toh bahut achcha tha, abhi toh bahut kharab chal raha hai, aisa nahi hai, she's
06:44come out really great and she's got her national award and this one is going to be a, you know,
06:50a treat to her fans or, you know, people following her.
06:54There have been 96 locations, so, there are so many shifts, so, the thing is, in 96 locations,
07:08it's like, we have many difficulties like rain, rain affected the shoot and we want,
07:15so if 96 days means, we have been like, we shot it like 96 days and it took 230 days,
07:23240 days for the total and the shoot, so, it's like 10 days shoot, 15 days break, again
07:2915 days shoot, 10 days break, so, actually, it will affect the shoot, but the thing is,
07:34actually, we enjoy it, the thing is, after 15 days of shoot, with this 15 days of, with
07:43video clips and all, footages, actually, me and the director and all else discussed about
07:51what all we have to do in the future and what all mistakes we have done and how we want
07:58to correct it, with that, we planned the next schedule, like that, it helped so much and
08:08also, we have shot in three states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala and also, one more
08:17thing I want to add and the thing is, the director told me that, by, in every foreign
08:24country movies, when they used to portrait India means, then definitely, they used to
08:31say some streets, slums and all, they show that, but the director want us to show this
08:41like an international movie, so, if someone watch this, they should think that, okay,
08:47the India is clean, so, we want to portrait like that, it should, it also want to feel
08:54like a tourism, I mean, a good tourism video for the India, yeah, when we show India, we
09:02show the streets, the, I mean, the slums, so, as if people feel that India is still
09:09the third world country, it's not like that, so, the director was very particular to show
09:13it, unless required, we won't show anything untidy or whatever, so, we should show our
09:19good things to others because he had this expectation and he had this belief that this
09:24is going places, so, he was sure that this will go places and people will watch it nationally
09:30and internationally.
