Stephen Dobbie was recently named as part of Steve Bruce's backroom staff, but the 41-year-old has experienced working with the first-team before, and had a short stint as interim head coach.

00:00Of course, you had a taste of the first team a few years ago.
00:03So what was that like being chucked in at the deep end, so to speak?
00:07Yeah, but I mean, people say that, but you've got to remember, I was at the club.
00:12I was helping Michael Appleton.
00:15I came up and helped him with some sessions.
00:17And then when Mick and TC came in, I was up nearly every day helping with the session.
00:23So I knew all the players.
00:24So I had my own thoughts about different players.
00:28And what I would implement if that ever came about, and obviously it did.
00:37And I love the experience.
00:39And it kind of shows yourself when you get thrown into that kind of thing.
00:44Can you handle it?
00:45And I felt like the team did quite well with the three wins.
00:49Obviously, we lost three.
00:50We were relegated at the end there, but when you look back, to get three wins in a championship
00:57was really good.
