00:22As long as it's thrown away or given away,

00:25that's what happens to agricultural products whenever there's an oversupply.

00:31So that the six vegetables won't go to waste, especially when there's an oversupply,

00:36the Department of Agriculture targets to build mega cold storage facilities

00:41and small warehouses in different parts of the country.

00:45It will deposit a P1.5 billion fund from an unprogrammed fund approved by the agency.

00:53It will start the procurement process before the end of the year.

00:57The P1.5 billion is for one megastructure.

01:02And then the P1 billion is for modular.

01:10All of these are solar.

01:12It will definitely help to preserve the shelf life of your agri-produce

01:19thereby reducing the wastage, losses, and other things.

01:26The Department of Agriculture promised to buy the rice of the farmers.

01:31That's in front of the lowering of the current price.

01:34According to the DA, the P1.5 billion was given to the National Food Authority.

01:40That's enough to buy more than 7 million bags of rice that will be ground and made into rice.

01:46The NFA rice is used for relief operations whenever there's an emergency.

01:52For more Filipinos to benefit from cheap rice,

01:56the DA will increase the President's support for Visayas and Mindanao.

02:01The President's support is expected to increase to 45% before the end of October.

02:08We will have the P1.5 billion next week.

02:11We already have it in Cebu.

02:13Governor Nguyen has already allowed us to be able to sell the P29.

02:19A lot of LGUs in the Visayas region.

02:24Under the P29 program, the poorest Filipinos can buy P29.

02:31The Rice for All program is P43.
