00:00In case you missed it in the last segment, the breaking news that Corey brought to you
00:04was that Jake Ottinger has signed an eight-year, $66 million extension with the Stars. So that's
00:12$8.25 million per year. I think he turns 26 in December. I think it's a great deal, especially
00:19when you've seen that some goalie contracts have started to go the way of like the quarterback
00:24contract in terms of their explosive value. Yeah. I think, was it Boston just recently
00:28signed Swayman to an eight-year $66 million? And I remember, was that like a week or two
00:34ago? Cause I remember- Yeah, like October 6th. Cause when that came out, we said, there's
00:39your template for the contract. Just like, you know, Jamar Chase saw the CeeDee Lamb
00:43deal and the Justin Jefferson deal. He's like, there's your template. That's, that's what
00:48we're going to do. That makes a lot of sense. So this absolutely, it makes a lot of sense.

01:24I hope they continue to win. Somebody said that signing Otter is like signing
01:29Dak and it's a bad deal because he's okay in the playoffs. And I think when it comes to
01:36net binders, it's always one of those, like you hope they get hot and you can ride that the whole
01:40time. But he's, I mean, he's been a phenomenal goalie, man. And so look, I disagree. Well,
01:48first of all, I disagree with that idea just because I think Otter got worked to the fricking
01:56bone in the regular seasons, the last three years. I agree. And he was not, he was great
02:06in the 2021, 22 playoffs. Like I realized you ended up losing in the first round,
02:10not because of him. He was awesome in that series. I thought he
02:15had like one or two games that were very curious to me last year. But other than that, I thought
02:20he played much better in the playoffs last season than he did before. So I don't, I don't agree with
02:26that. Okay. But if you do feel that way, I can definitely, well, that's true. Everybody wrong.
02:32But if you do feel that way, I can definitely see how you're like, well, this is as dumb
02:35win the cup by yourself. Like if every game is one and nothing, everybody be like, wow,
02:40really happy. We had Otter.
