00:00Like I said, I mean everyone has their own experience. In my experience, I've always owned my skin colour and I think that's also one of my strengths, so I like to see it like that.
00:20It's also how you, your own perspective of who you are and yeah, I haven't found a bias yet.
00:28And I feel like the time has changed and there is a lot of acceptance, openness and even a demand for a certain skin colour.
00:36I feel like there are two sides to this. One is that it's in your hands, how you want to present yourself and how you can present yourself.
00:50Maybe it wasn't an opportunity to go to a producer's door and meet them, but now it's an opportunity for the producer to come to my profile and see how I can present myself in different ways.
01:05So I think that way, it's a good way. It's like having a comp card on your phone. That I think is beneficial.
01:14On the other hand, there have also been situations where I have not gotten something because of a certain amount of social media following.
01:22That also happens. I personally feel that where there is talent and someone who can play a role, he should get that role.
01:32Although on the other hand, this is a business at the end of the day. Those who are investing in films or web series, they also have to earn money from it.
01:40So it makes a difference to them as to how much popularity you have. So I feel like there are both ways to this.
01:48And given that there is social media, I feel like personally you should make the most of it.
01:54And use the platform as a tool for yourself, not that the platform should use you.
02:00That you keep scrolling all day, keep comparing yourself to other people all day. That thing also starts happening.
02:06So it's up to you how you use it, what you do with it.
02:10I think I am very grateful, very blessed that I got to play such a role that I can proudly say that I have played this role.
02:29Even something like getting Andekhi, getting something like Slave Market which is an international show so early in my career.
02:39I think Andekhi was only two years old when I got the role of Slave Market.
02:43To be like the first actress to work in the Arabic industry, first Indian actress.
02:47And then to get a role like Zoya, I feel like there has been a lot. I am very, very grateful for the kind of opportunities I have gotten.
02:54Obviously, there has been a lot of hard work, a lot of time, a lot of ups and downs.
03:02But there is a certain amount of blessing that has come my way.
03:09Guys, watch Honeymoon Photographer. If you haven't watched Slave Market or Andekhi, then watch that as well.
03:15And thank you for so much love that has come my way so far.
03:19And I hope I keep entertaining you for years to come.
