00:00Hey guys, really quick video for the nature and environment in Japan playlist.
00:03We're parking the car in a coin car park in Aichi, and spotted this little guy down here.
00:11So it's a bit out of focus, weren't planning on making a video, just planning on parking
00:14the car.
00:15It's a redback spider, so really easy to spot because they're all black with that big flash
00:20of red on their tail.
00:22So really easy to spot.
00:24Sadly, or embarrassingly, they come from Australia, and apparently a bunch of them got in by ship.
00:31Something was being brought to Nagoya port by ship from Australia, and some redback spiders
00:37were in there, in amongst the whatever it was, and they've started to spread throughout
00:41Aichi.
00:42So we've showed you these before in Aichi, they're spreading.
00:45So redback spiders, if you do happen on one, don't touch it, they bite really strongly.
00:51Serious bite.
