What if your fitness tracker never had a break in its metrics?
Transcript
00:00If you're tracking your fitness, you're likely looking to get in shape and increase
00:07your energy levels.
00:08But what if your fitness tracker also had endless energy?
00:11This is the Beeheart, the new everlasting fitness wearable being developed by French
00:15tech company Barracuda.
00:16The device is capable of calculating how many calories you are burning and your activity
00:20throughout the day.
00:21But the sleek looking tracker does a whole lot more.
00:23It also monitors stress throughout the day and the amount and quality of sleep you get
00:27at night.
00:28It also keeps track of how much time you spend outdoors, which the company's owner Jules
00:31Andrés says is an oft-forgotten metric of health.
00:34And we are also tracking outdoor time, so that point is kind of important because some
00:38of people don't know, but just going outside in the morning, like even 15 minutes taking
00:43a sun bath, is very important for your health.
00:45But perhaps the most innovative thing is that you never have to take the device off, as
00:49it charges using only the kinetic energy of your body and light from the sun, meaning
00:53every second of the wearer's biometric data can be gathered without a single break for
00:57charging.
