00:00A few moments ago, at around 7.45am, I and the representatives from the regional office and the land of Gombak,
00:16along with the Nampajaya City Council, visited several locations,
00:22and the main locations here include the landslide that happened before 10am last night.
00:31The first report was reported at around 10am to the Bomba and Rescue Department,
00:38followed by the MPAJ.
00:40One of the landslides, from Jalan G2 to Jalan Serdang,
00:51caused around 7 houses to be at risk,
00:56and we have ordered the houses to be evacuated and the residents to be placed here.
01:03Some of the residents have chosen to stay at their in-laws' houses.
01:11As of today, one of the early findings is that there is an overflow of water from the roof,
01:19which caused the landslide that happened last night.
01:26Today, at around 10am, the GMJ will continue the investigation
01:32and ensure that the residents below are safe before we allow the residents to return home.
01:39There are no injuries or deaths from yesterday's incident.
01:48I would also like to inform you that the landslides are private land,
01:58which has been registered for a long time,
02:01and there is no development area at the site of the landslide.
02:07However, above the site of the landslide, there is a development project being built,
02:12and after this, the landslides will be held accountable to the owners of the private land.
02:20That is my initial information.
02:22So, you are saying that the cause of the landslide is due to the collapsed roof?
02:27Yes, that is what I said.
02:28The roof collapsed due to the stones and the land,
02:31and it has overflowed out.
02:35So, we expect that the landslide will not only occur yesterday,
02:39but also in the next few days.
02:43So, the whole area, including the roof and the road,
02:47is still under the control of the land owners.
02:52We have issued a notice to the owners of the private land
02:56so that they can clean and maintain the land and the road.
