00:00This is the second PC to update on the development of the landslide situation in this Malawati Park.
00:10So, for your information, we have had a discussion with all government agencies involved,
00:21such as the Land Authority of Kumbak, MPAJ, Bomba and JKR, and also the Mineral Authority of Gallean Selangor.
00:35So, our findings are that there is still land movement in the area of Bukit Terbabit.
00:47So, in connection with that, a few actions have been taken.
00:52Firstly, MPAJ will place a plastic canvas along the slope related to the landslide
01:02to avoid flooding worse, given that it is still raining heavily at this time.
01:10So, with the hope that by placing this plastic canvas, we can reduce the land movement.
01:18So, in connection with that, the second action is that we have also advised the residents along the I-6 road
01:28to avoid entering their homes today.
01:38So, the third thing is that all residents who are affected by this incident have moved to a new location,
01:51which is the one that we have provided at JKP Zone 1, close to the area of the incident.
01:59Meanwhile, the rest of the residents who do not want to stay in crowded areas,
02:04they will stay at their relatives' houses or hotels nearby.
02:08So, so far, there are still 33 individuals from 11 families in our record.
02:17The third thing is that JMG and JKR will conduct another study tomorrow
02:25to finalise the next steps.
