01:36When the Duterte administration made the budget for 2017 to 2019,

01:41the confidential and intel funds increased by 5 times or 2.5 billion pesos.

01:46These funds increased by 4.5 billion pesos from 2019 to 2022.

01:52The confidential and intel funds of Malacanang were included in the COA audit.

01:56But the details of the findings were not disclosed to the public because of its possible effect on national security.

02:01That's why Fernandez thinks it's hard for them to investigate the intel funds of the former president.

02:07He said they can make a law based on their investigation.

02:11I think it's high time that we have to strengthen the policy of our COA.

02:16There's an abusive intent in using the intel fund to kill people and pay those who perpetrate it.

02:33The PNP will investigate the so-called cold cases or murder cases of local officials in the context of the drug war.

02:44that there were police officers involved in the murder of Tanawan City Mayor Antonio Halili in 2018.

02:50We will look into who were involved, particularly the elected officials and other well-known personalities

03:01who died during the height of the anti-drug campaign during the time of the previous administration.

03:07The PNP is also investigating the so-called police official named Garma who was involved in the murder of Halili.

03:13He is Police Captain Kenneth Albotra who is located in Police Regional Office 7 in Central Visayas.

03:18Kenneth Albotra is the one who was interviewed by GMA Integrated News saying that Garma's allegation is not true.
