UN urges independent probe into deadly Israeli strike in northern Lebanon

The United Nations calls for a "prompt, independent and thorough investigation" into an Israeli strike in the northern Lebanese village of Aito. So far, Israel's numerous strikes since it invaded Lebanon in September have mainly been concentrated in predominantly Shiite Muslim areas further south, where Hezbollah has built its power base.
