00:00So, Hastings and St Lenno's actually always seems to be at the end of the line when it
00:05comes to investing in bus services. That particular situation needs to change. I do feel sorry
00:11for the drivers because bus drivers do exactly what they can, given the road traffic works
00:16that we see around the town, around the borough, outside of town and the congestion that goes
00:21with that. So, Stagecoach really do need to start investing in new services, new bus services,
00:27new buses and stop making this the end of the line for our local residents. The state
00:32of buses actually are not that particularly clean. I know it's drawing into the autumn
00:36now and we're getting a lot of rain and detritus on the road, so they're pretty filthy to be
00:40honest. Also, the state and cleanliness of the bus inside, people are telling me that
00:45they're not clean, they're not reliable, but I get that because of the congestion, the
00:49road works and all of the things that our bus drivers, who do give good service, have
00:54to put up with. In terms of quality bus partnership that Hastings Borough Council used to have
00:59and East Sussex County Council used to have, there's no quality there now and there's no
01:02partnership and it's really, really worrying that Hastings is being left behind when it
01:09comes to investment for bus services.
