00:00Yeah, they're in a perfect position for a 1-2 punch, and I'm glad you brought up the
00:06efficiency because there wasn't that massive of a margin between their efficiency and the
00:10Bills' efficiency.
00:11Obviously, the Bills picked up a little bit more, but the Jets walked away tonight with
00:1433% third down efficiency, red zone-wise sitting 25%.
00:19This is where the margin obviously expands because the Bills were sitting at 75% with
00:23their red zone efficiency.
00:25So just a few minor adjustments there.
00:28Of course, Josh Allen, 76% completion rate in comparison to Aaron Rodgers, 65.7%.
00:34But most importantly, I mean, he hit 35 attempts, he had 294 passing yards, just the one interception
00:40and no, not by Douglas.
00:41But still, with new things, with a lot of moving pieces, not a bad performance by the
00:46Jets.
00:47We'll see what comes down the bank there moving forward.
00:48What were you most impressed with when it comes to the Bills?
00:51I mean, my initial thought is their defense coming up strong in a number of plays.
00:55Allen closes out the night with 215 passing yards, two touchdowns and not a turnover.
00:59Ray Davis being the talk of the town, 97 yards on the ground through 20 carries, 55 receiving
01:06yards through three receptions.
01:08So that touchdown didn't come about, but he was definitely a key anchor in this game tonight.
01:13The turnover by Johnson, a couple of sacks delivered by the Bills' defense, but I think
01:17that they are probably one of the stronger points of tonight's game, right?
01:21Absolutely.
01:22Their defense and their running game.
01:23Like, Ray Davis was awesome.
01:26And that's what it comes down to.
01:27They have a good play calling scheme, good offensive line.
01:30He got the ball plenty.
01:31He broke off big plays.
01:33He brought in a deep reception.
01:35He essentially played the same role that James Cook plays.
01:38Maybe not that deep reception that Cook is coming out of the backfield on some wheel
01:41routes, but if Cook is going to miss any more time, we have a consistent option when it
01:45comes to the Bills' offense, and that's going to be Ray Davis coming out of the backfield.
01:50Good stuff overall on both teams.
01:53We saw the kicker miss two field goals for the Jets.
01:56So if he makes those, the Jets win this game, and the conversation moving forward for the
02:01Jets would be completely different.
02:02You'd say, okay, they picked up the win, new coach, new play caller, everything.
02:08It's all sunny for the Jets if the kicker hits those two field goals.
02:11So I think we need to take everything in context tonight.
02:14I think the Bills are going to be fine.
02:15I think the Jets are going to be fine.
02:17Absolutely.
02:18I couldn't agree more.
02:19The kicks would have come in handy, that's for sure, but that's what makes football so
02:23great and especially close matchups just like this one.
