Minister welcomes investment by DP World after row
Science Secretary Peter Kyle welcomes one billion pounds of investment by DP World saying both the company and the government are “focussed on the future”. The funding was put in doubt after Transport Secretary Louise Haigh called for a consumer boycott of P&O Ferries (owned by DP World) over its fire-and-rehire policy. Report by Blairm. 00:37to make sure that our position as a government was stated
00:40and we've moved forward very quickly.

00:47and we're talking about a billion pounds worth of investment into our country.
00:51That is the real issue here.
00:53That is the big picture.
00:55That is what we should be fighting for and celebrating now as a country.
00:58Because that is just one of the investments that we are unlocking.
